I've been a member on this forum for quite a while but never posted here actively, I hope this will change now. My name is Marcin and I am the Head of Poker for Redbet and also the guy behind Redbet LIVE (formerly called HESOP), which is our own low buy-in live poker tour being hosted across Europe.

Only 3 days to go until Redbet LIVE kicks off in Rozvadov!!!

The first of 14 events at the King’s Casino kicks off on Wednesday 29th May, just 48 hours after the conclusion of the Cash Kings Celebrity Special, which sees the likes of Ole Schemion, Daniel Colman, Liv Boeree, Daniel “Jungleman” Cates, Max Altergott, Igor Kurganov, George Danzer, and Philipp Gruissem taking part in televised cash game over two days . Which of them stick around to play the Redbet Live Main Event?

Kyle Hendry - Footballer as well as Hendonmobs Roland Boothby will also be there covering the Main Event, providing the English commentary for the live stream, and up to the minute results and chip counts from the event.

Redbet LIVE Rozvadov 2015

The curtain has closed on Redbet Live Rozvadov and it was David Perez Sanchez who walks away with the Main Event trophy and the €54,359 first prize, after a dominating final table performance

What started out as 14 event festival soon became 16 with the addition of the €100 €40k guaranteed event on Friday evening as well as the €30 all-in-or-fold event, which returned to the Redbet Live schedule by popular demand. Players flocked to the King’s Casino in astonishing numbers, which saw the Main Event field grow to 1,148, boosted in no small part by a 682 strong field on day 1C. The 40k GTD event on Friday attracted a similarly remarkable field of 607 and was eventually won by Poland’s Adam Jaguscik. There was a strong polish showing in all the events, including at the Main Event final table which saw Tomasz Sobecki and Lukasz Paszkiewicz take down 3rd (€23,280) and 5th (€13,764) respectively for Poland.

Day 1A chip leader Hasan Gul of Germany, who amassed a jaw dropping 725,000 stack on day 1B, continued his good run into day 2 and 3, and viewers on the live stream on Twitch saw him repeatedly punching the air with delight as he moved up the pay jumps, eventually succumbing to David Perez Sanchez, for a 2nd place finish and €33,000. Local favourite ‘MagicMan’, a favourite amongst those tuning in on Twitch due to his colourful antics and bizarre white gloves, was unable to give the local rail what they were looking for, after busting in 8th for €5,092. Swedish pro and former WSOP Bracelet winner Tomas Alenius fell short of the final table after finally busting in 23rd for €2,004 after a yoyo day.
Days 2 and 3 of the main event were live streamed on Twitch in English and Polish, with viewers being treated to cards up coverage once play reached the final 8. English Live Stream host Roland Boothby was joined in the booth by Ukrainian pro Borys Drabkin and Scottish Redbet sponsored pro / footballer Kyle Hendry, who were kept on their toes by a lively Twitch rail number around 500 at its peak.

The €1,100 high roller event was won by local player Josef Pavelka, who outlasted a field of 46 which included Rebdet sponsored pros Endre Sagstuen and former PCA and EPT Copenhagen final tablist Aage Ravn.


All in all a hugely successful festival with all connected with Redbet and the King’s Casino. King’s owner Leon Tsoukernik flew in on Sunday after his trip to play the Super High Roller at the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo, and spoke to Redbet’s very own Mark Thorne about this delight at the huge numbers that had flocked to King’s for Rebet Live.

The week also saw many promotions and giveaways with many players clamouring for a Rebet Live hoodie. Dutch player Nigel Ng, was the lucky winner of the Rebet Raffle, which gave one player his €299 buy in back, meaning a freeroll for Nigel, who went on the cash in 15th for €2,691!
