Hey guys, After Caesars blackballed Pokerstars for a few years keeping them out of the US, they have teamed up with them now that they are under Amaya. They are going to aggressively be pursuing many bills etc.

heres a good link.

http://www.pokernews.com/news/2015/02...rst-discusses-caesars-stars-20699.htm

This could be sweet.

Also on Pokernews you can see that Cali is doing a lot having 3 tribes now willing to allow pokerstars and 2 opposed, when it was 0-5, things are progressing, and another bill was put in today although its just a start for the year as it won't do much imo.

GL guys,
Ryan

not sure i want online poker in cali or usa. i can already play bovada. the skill level of live poker has literally regressed the last couple of years. Live games are as soft as ever. The new 18-22 year old kids i see coming into the casino these days are fish not sharp online regs with a million hands under their belt online. I graduated high school the year moneymaker won the main event. I've played since. All the best players in the world are plus or minus 5 years of my age (29). As it stands with no online poker in the USA. Live will stay soft and strong forever and I can grind in juicy fun games indefinitely.

Vote No on Online Poker imo

I used to really want online back. But over the last 6 months i've come to love my Bovada/live combo more and more.

I would not grind on Pokerstars if I could...

even with their 4 max tables and no rakeback bovada is the fucking nuts. the players actually try to give you their stacks

I noticed the same thing in Norway. Basicly any young 20's guy that enter our game really suck. A few grinders that played full tilt etc back in the days in our game is the only decent ones.

I think a regulated, usa only site would be even softer than Bovada.

greed is good

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

I think you guys make awesome points.

Lol now i wanna be a live reg but idk how well I can adjust to 30 hands an hour....

Its like I crush a few hours and get super bored........

Online I really like it

Bovada is a good site, def the softest site, ACR has the best cashout options though and I've had issues depositing on bovada, afterwards i had problems recieving money, i think bovada is the nuts if u just use bank wires as ur cashout option though.

i may consider moving my action there it seems to be a good site.

Thanks for your insight on Bovada, I did always like it, but have had problems w/ the cashouts (my banks wont cash poker checks) - and they won't garauntee they will do a western union or moneygramm cashout even though i've done a moneygramm deposit to initialize it.

I think min is 1500 for bank wires which is do-able every month at nl50 with a 1k starting br...

what are your cashout methods for bovada guys?
does anyone get moneygramm?

this was me stoned rambling figuring shit out + Q+A etc

Neillyaments.

I cash directly to my visa debit account (which is my checking account). Ask bovada support, they added this method recently , something called visa checkout or something.,

by the way i believe if we have INTERSTATE poker and not federal poker, then it will stay super soft, but if it goes federal, it will toughen up and breed another generation, although they will give us a huge boom for a while. I am Pro online poker in the USA.

yea man I don't bother with any tracking on Bovada anymore, I don't even track myself. Huds with only a few hands (which is basically all you are gonna get unless you are battling a reg heads up and find tracking his stats during the session useful. People usually quit first though) are only useful for identifying fish quickly while masstabling and with a 4 table cap this isn't an issue. No cap on tournaments so maybe a little more useful there i suppose but imo it is not truly necessary and might as well get as good as possible playing without it.

I've had no problems with either check or wire from Bovada. They tell you to put the checks straight into the ATM to avoid scrutiny but my bank atms wont accept them. I've still had no trouble depositing it inside with a teller (chase), not even any questions about online gambling which I have had elsewhere.

When making a small cashout with a check though i have had to eat some nasty fees which sucks. Comes in less than a week though so I just consider it online poker tax.

Oh and the one time I did try to use a hud on bovada back in the day it would screw me over more often than not. When a player would leave the table and another would sit I often wouldn't know right away or at all because its just one "anonymous" getting replaced by another and if you aren't paying attention to stacksizes, noticing the table change icon which disappears quickly, or seeing it happen right in front of you it is easy to miss. This new player would often get tagged with the last player's stats for a while causing me to make some ridiculous spews vs nits etc.
