I'm sure this question has been asked and answered somewhere before, but is there any good beginner PLO literature or articles on the web? I'd like somewhere to start, but unsure where to look.

datamine a good plo player and study that. more good real info than you will find anywhere else. This may be against the TOS of the site however unless you observed or participated in those hands yourself.

I don't do this personally because I play on Bovada where you can't and I don't feel the need but what I do do is at least read the High Stakes thread on 2+2 and look over hand histories from the best.

All the top pros read that thread themselves and most post in it from time to time; probably the only useful info left on that website and ironically it lies right in the middle of NVG

There's a new book by Insyder and some other dude: Mastering Pot Limit Omaha - The Modern Aggressive Approach by H. Okolowitz and W. Taschner

No idea if it's good but he plays like 5/10+ and is a coach on pokerstrategy.com I think. Have not read it.

There's also that gigantic Donkr.com plo series if you are looking for beginner stuff, I remember it being pretty OK but it's a few years old by now.

Hm.. Off-suite socks..Last edit: 19/01/2015 10:22

for example this hand will teach you more than whole books on PLO; and i doubt if any of those books would be able to explain WCG's line adequately here. Check out the river play here and what it indicates as the board runs out this way (extremely drawy - brick riv).
