Lacking detail on which changes were kept and lacking reasoning behind their reversal but they do say that it's "complex" and that they strive to "get it right"... for whom?

My guess though?

Amaya knows they don't have the economic position to dissolve/influence the regulations to enter the US market.
They are under investigation in Canada, which seems likely to produce negative results for the company.
They likely will not be allowed to serve Canadians in the near future (it is actually illegal for them to do so).
Emerging bitcoin/crypto sites are becoming more and more prevalent and more and more popular (I mean eventually even grandma uses email right)?

And so since PS rolled back the rake changes before even announcing it, it seems most likely to me a rift has formed between amaya and PS and with the lack of communication and such a dismal future outlook PS team took it upon themselves to stoke the fire of the sinking ship.

I mean wtf business decision....who in the world thought they could arbitrarily raise rake? Seriously, your customers are a collective group of game theorists...
I didn't do this, I just calmly pointed out for the last year this is going to cause revolution and reformation...
