to give some info I am a 19 year old student from the UK.
I have experience in playing video games at high ranks competitively.
I am now making the switch to poker and am willing to put the time and effort in, I'm searching for a mentor or someone who can show me the ropes and give me a bit of guidance. So far I've spent my time playing in freeroll tournaments over the last 2 weeks with no luck.
I have plenty of free time and am willing to learn please help me reach my full potential.

No one (probably anyway) is going to give you much, if any, coaching for free. People will comment on hands you post, maybe even discuss hands on skype or what not. But nobody is going to invest a lot of time into you for free. Here's a good book though for 6max cash.

It might be a bit overwhelming to a complete beginner, but definitely a little bit later down the line is a great resource I think.

edit: also Crushing the Microstakes by Nathan "Blackrain79" Williams is a good starting point for microstakes full ring cash. It's for fullring not 6max, but lots of the concepts can be applied to both. Sure if you looked hard enough you could find a pdf of this as well.

Your resume is rather vague.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

You were born about ten years too late.

continue being a student and make sure your degree isn't completely useless.
