You won’t believe how many times this woman gets harassed in 10 hours.

It's fucking unbelievable how men can get away with rape so easily. In broad daylight, this woman was just trying to simply have a nice walk in the city, and yet, that doesn't stop these racists from jumping up at their chance to rape this defenseless woman. There was even a guy who raped her for an entire four minutes. These creeps need to be euthanized so that society can progress. Racism and homophobia have no place in society.

These forms of harassment are not just sexist — but also racist and homophobic in nature.

Please donate your shekels to this great cause. For every $10 you donate, you actively prevent one case of rape. If you don't give this woman any money, then you are implicit in the abetting of rape.

as with everything, the truth lies somewhere in the middle of the extreme opinions.

"good morning" and "hello" are not harassment and generally meant as a kind gesture, but a girl doesnt know what guy will take a denial the wrong way and explode. whenever these discussions come up, im always reminded of the louis ck clip:

men can be really dangerous, women who walk around and feel harassed may also fear for their lives.

on the other hand, the video is pretty racist.

a white woman filming & shaming black men for saying hi to her are you sure your gender equality doesnt look a lot like class+race anxiety

Women can be really dangerous, just as well, if not more so. Women use weapons more than men in domestic abuse cases. There's also violence by proxy. I mean, I've denied a girl before and then she tried to say I raped her. I never know when a girl will retort to that if they approach me. You also depict women as the better sex by implying that women are able to handle rejection, which is sexist.

Also, fuck louis. He buys into white privilege, which is a racist ideology.

well when the job market is no good you can just make a feminist website and ask for money i guess

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

The job market never deteriorated since the 08 crash for the female demographic. Only the male side did. Also, in South Korea, don't more women have jobs than men?

That video is biased and designed to stir controversy.

I'm really surprised that anybody acts in this way though. I've never seen people act like that in europe and I don't believe it's because I'm a guy for a second.

Yeah they are physically able to overpower women but that's irrelvant. You think a woman should fear for her life on a city street in broad daylight as per the video? If she's EVER fearful of her life in that situation then that's a highly irrational woman. If it was 4 am down a dark alley near a seedy nightclub then it's a different story, eh? She wasn't being harassed although she did put herself in a position of being excessively greeted/complimented and approached. Silence drives people nuts and even in the audience (us) it stirs controversy because she's moving like an unnatural force. People are meant to communicate and respond to each other. Instead, she was passively provoking the people that approached her by not answering. I guess some men were bored so they decided to follow and mimic her. Sure, it can be seen as creepy but it was also edited so we never saw how that ended and I bet it's because she caved and told them to fuck off. Or wait, we're supposed to believe she walked for 10 hours without saying a word, right? No, this was 10 hours edited down to 2 minutes to be as provocative as possible.

It's not like this never happens in Europe, but the times I myself have seen it was either made by someone who seemed like part of the low class of society like construction workers & cab drivers, or drunk dumbasses. And it's still something quite rare. I have a hard time bringing myself to believe its something standard in the US

Since when is "you re beautiful " a harassment, sure its highly inappropriate, but harassment ?

Women do not have more jobs in SK than men. You're pulling this shit out of your ass. Patriarchy Confucius bullshit reigns in SK and women, despite going through the same education as men are pressured to get married, stay at home, and take care of the children.

If you think white privilege doesn't exist, you're wrong and completely ignoring the effects of stereotypes on minorities.

I can't find the article that I read on the south korean thing, but I remember reading comments made by south korean on twitter about it and how it was because men were forced to do three years military service and women don't have to.

But on the minorities thing, what exactly is a minority? Should we consider, in America, a nation where 65% is white, a city that is 90% black to be a minority city, so to say? Would someone that wasn't black not be a minority in that city, regardless if they were white? Then again, are you talking globally, where white people don't even make up 15% of the population?

Well, I wouldn't go to that extent personally in my climate but it needs to be recognised that is a highly effective way of doing things and the way it was done for a very long time. Now that there is less of a pressure for that family system we have all kinds of relationships.

Hey! construction workers literally built this city, lay off pal, who you calling low class, eh!?! pfff

Well, the reason her state of dress isn't perceived sexually provocative or is overlooked is because it's just everywhere. It's just out there now, people generally think it's trendy and accept it as being fine and think little more of it... roll back 70 years and you would never see a woman dressed like she is now. Go to some places in the world and you'll get stoned, beaten, ridiculed, raped and the community will be overwhelmingly behind it. As western women have become more sexual at the same time men are socially expected to suppress sexual urges right infront of them 24/7. Fuck that. That's not natural, healthy or realistic so lets not pretend that it is. Everyone is checking girls out all the time but they usually aren't that vocal about it. That said, If a guy says you're beautiful or you've got a great ass then as a sexualised well dressed western woman that's something you've just gotta deal with because hey, you probably fucking do. We didn't forfeit our sexuality just because women decided to become more sexualised socially.

There's clearly a huge market of women who have no idea or are in denial over how sexual their image is. Like, as I brought up in Joeingram1's blog before, male-male and female-female sexual/physical/style attraction exists for everyone. It's an important factor in how we connect with people and how we choose friends but we rarely think and never talk about it. Forget about being gay for a second and realise how the fashion industry exploits that repressed hidden connection with your sex. It's not gay to read mens health or any female style magazine but that's a form of socially accepted sexual/style/lifestyle pornography. It's so accepted people don't even think of it in those terms. I'm sure people do masturbate to those magazines but the majority who don't still look at the models who have or are perceived to have everything and people can't get enough of it. Even though it's fake, for you somehow there's a hope it could be real if you read their workouts, style tips and buying advice.

ehh, white privilege is true to an extent I think, but maybe it is exaggerated?. Like stop and frisk in New York that targets mostly minorities is a clear example of white privilege. But you also have to ask questions like, is it the fact that stop and frisk is implemented in neighbourhoods with high % minorities because that's where the crime rates are highest (not saying this is the case, just an idea or something to think about)? Just simple things that might correlate but that doesn't prove anything. I also have a tough time understanding white privilege fully as I'm from Canada, from a place that's mostly white people. I do, though, go to Vancouver fairly often where obviously there are tons of "minorities" (we don't really associate non white people as minorities here, they are just people) and I've never noticed any discrimination.
