So I have this bag of dried pinto beans. I dont normally eat beans or even know how I came to possess these beans but fuck it, I'm hongry so I might as well figure out how to convert them into poo. I couldnt read the recommended cooking instructions but I know beans and water mix, so into a bowl for the next 24 hours they go. Fuck these are gonna be some soggy ass beans, they might even grow. Can you get high eating fermented beans? Whatev's. After a full day marinating in substance free flavorless broth I get to the cookin. Another 6 hours oughta do it, damn I wish I could read. If I can cook beans in water surely I can cook anything else too, so in goes the rest of whatever I could find in my fridge; beef, veggies, more water.... After one and a half days of prep work it's time to relish in my masterpiece. I chip a tooth because instead of cooking beans I cooked a bag of decorative aquarium rocks for my fish tank. FML.

if you are a novice chef pinto beans might be a challenge, have you ever tried asian beans? they are pretty simple to make and cook fast, about 15 minutes in water

ive cooked beans plenty of times, but sometimes they just don't come out the way I want them to. i cook stuff from italian to mexican to asian stir-fry.
