Help, I'm out of position |

These are zoom tables btw.
I've learnt that with suited connectors you can semibluff a raise or reraise in spots even when OOP.
But what about pocket pairs and high cards? Honestly I have know idea how I should be playing high cards (KQ KJ QJ KT etc) in any position. They seem pretty marginal to get value from (no idea) and I've probably been folding them a lot preflop. And consequently in tougher spots (oop) I don't play them at all. Of o/c I have fold them to every single preflop reraise....
1) here i'm just on the sb facing an ep raise

2) position aside, i think i've been folding pretty much every high-card combo to a preflop raise (minus aj+..) and wondering if i should be calling with highcard suited connectors or suited connectors in general or highcards in general or what? do i call a preflop raise with QJs? QJo? KT? T8s? KQo? KQs? as it stands I don't have any standard understanding of when to play these cards. sure i raise them preflop but then i fold to reraises, in position or not. to be honest i would probably rather raise these cards pf less (so i get caught out less) and instead call raises with them in position more because i have higher chance of winning any given hand ip.
3) OOP with aj, aq, ak - ok to call oop and checkcall/fold trying to get value from a contbet or weaker ace? or better to 3bet with these? (what happens if miss flop!? i think flatting is much better so far........)
4) Pocket pairs often I thought you're supposed to call any raise just to set mine. But heads up vs 1 guy who might be stealing and being out of position, do I want to keep auto-playing pocket pairs?
Er don't have a hand here, but just imagine the above hand (on the BB or SB) but holding TT or 66 or 22....... ........
5) last is just a random hand. is the betting pattern here normal or should i be looking to checkraise in this spot? probably checkraise is better and then bet turn bet river? (i guess another line could be checkcall checkraise or we could checkcall checkcall checkraise??????? what is normal thing to do here? checkraise turn?

not sure what to say
suited highcards play a lot better postflop than unsuited, and u also get them 1/4 as often. at least try to see flops with them
the last hand is interesting, leading flop is probably the most non-standard line - essentially ur leading in a spot where ur range is behind his, so u're repping a very strong hand. the standard is probably to ck/call flop ck/raise "good" turns, or ck/call ck/call ck/raise "good" rivers. the Ace turn is possibly a card u can lead on after ck/calling flop, since it's a good card for ur perceived range (fewer Ax in his range since he's more likely to check back with them on flop, whereas ur ck/calling a lot of urs? idk its opponent dependent, i don't play much zoom |

I personally think basically everyone massively overvalues the significance of suited cards in NLH |

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same | |
