Yo, I tried a session playing a bit tighter and not calling with as many suited connectors and hands in the cutoff/bb/oop, instead reraising ip when I play them.

I hit another 1-2 undersets and a big KK vs AA

I don't feel good about this shit at the moment. I think it is lack of action/cards so I'm not too worried.

But I want to know what this big fucking red line is about? Can anyone tell me?

I never understood what red blue green yellow lines were. They should just make one right?

well green is your actual winnings, yellow is your allin EV (how much you "deserve" to win based on your showdowns), blue is amount you've won at showdown and red is amount you've lost without seeing showdown (blue - red = green)

my red was going fine during the ZOOM games where basically everyone folds to a blind raise but as you can see i've been completely battered in normal games....

would anyone like to screen share and watch me play whilst talking on skype or something? just to identify my major weaknesses .... like basic hand play ... make sure that i'm not doing things completely wrong? i could offer like $30 in return for your help if/when i hit $65?

down isn't good, i like when it's up

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

It's actually red + blue = green

It's possible for both lines to be positive and adding to your winrate. I wouldn't really worry about that at the moment though and just keep playing/studying trying to improve.

It makes sense your redline would look better in zoom games if you think about it.

Honestly it seems like you are doing pretty well and playing alright if you really have as little experience as you let on.

i have a lot of experience from back in the day but nothing i am learning now is anything i learnt in the past , i have no idea what i "knew" in the past but from what i'm learning now it looks like i knew very little and just relied on basic intelligence from hand to hand. this 5nl is like playing professionals lol

i spent last evening getting sweat by an awesome guy (not baal) who gave me some ideas to play around with.
- put opponent on a specific range and use his positional stats to do so . this is shockingly relevant on 5nl and was hard to get my head around it
- during the hand figure out if a bet is achieving value from weaker hands or if you're only going to be called by stronger hands. this is obvious but you cant do it accurately without first assigning your opponent a range of actual hands. and you need to be accurate
- the possibility of check-calling? still not sure about this, but its like spots where you have a hand but if you bet it you will only get called by better hands so you check call...? and let him shut himself down with his own cbet whilst you still have showdown value. and things like shutting down contbets. i think "no showdown" (red line) spots come into play here and is one of my biggest weaknesses and has a lot of potential.
- making notes not just about how opponent seems to play but specifically what hands he plays in which positions.
- idk there is a lot to take in really.
- i customised PT to show pf raise stat of each position

going to have a break then play some more

yeah zoom was like "hit the raise button and take his blind 100%"
