You said it Tom, so what.
Plus Matthew can never make me cry like Bruce did in Armageddon, so what's the point of even watching other space movies.

not sure if serious, that was probably one of the saddest moments in any movie I've seen

Looks legit but, I doubt he'll be able to outdo his performance in "Dazed and Confused."

i think mcconaughey (hardest last name ever) is underrated as an actor. it's easy to be pidgeon-holed as a certain role but come on, "how to lose a guy in 10 days" was forever ago. thought he was good in the roles that he got including
1) wolf of wallstreet
2) dallas buyers club
3) lincoln lawyer
anyway based on the trailer it's obvious that interstellar travel is going to lead to a dillema that mcconaughey is going to outlive his kids and therefore potentially never see them again, but since it's a nolan film, i imagine there being a satisfying twist at the end rectifying the dilemma and giving me a feel good ending for the mcconaughey and his kids

he was rated poorly cuz he was just acting crap roles in crap movies. now everyone has been on his nuts for a while (following like 4 amazing performances).

He was amazing in True Detective. Too bad that show isn't as good as everyone says it is.

Bruce Willis saving the world is something so standard my emotions are not even noticing it.
there re tons of other movie moments that are so much sadder :
Lion King, Mr Nobody, Requiem for a dream, Timetraveler's wife, A walk to remember( no homo), Saving Private Ryan and those re on top of my head
Matthew McConaughey has a sick year - true detective, dallas buyers club, and his appearence in the wolf of wallstreet is one of the funniest moments in the movie

Armageddon was a pretty damn good movie. It would surprise me if interstellar is better.

He finally realized he can become a bigger star by doing movies other then chick flicks, better late then never. Lion King is sad, but I was too young / ignorant to realize it when I first saw the movie, whereas for Armageddon I was at the age of unbalanced hormones and shit was very sad.

I liked it! Inspiring movie, puts things into perspective, space exploration movies always make me feel small and unimportant.
it's similar to Inception, the way the movie unravels, it's layers of complexity
In the end, when he's trapped in time. How did he get there? There's mentions of the human race advancing beyond the linearity of time, and that they somehow (the future) created this reality for him?
It somewhat reminded me of the ending for Space Odyssey
Also, why was the one astronaut so dedicated to sabotaging the others? I understand his motives for trying to kill Cooper for the ship/resources to aid the with colonization, but to follow them into space and risk everything - was he simply psychotic?
Nice score..
I dont know what a dt drop is. Is it a wrestling move? -Oly
