I was thinking about getting this on steam

Is it a difficult game to get into? Is it one of those fighters where if your opponent is good enough, he'll do this cheap never ending loop of combos?

If you're going to get into a fighting game might as well be Street Fighter 4 since it has the largest fighting game community and the game is continuously being updated by the community's feedback.

Game is easy to get into but there are frustrating characters to fight against in the game.

Snake has soo much experience vs rose. Really disappointed he couldnt take that game.

It's so difficult to execute moves in this game.. wtf

How are you suppose to press Back, Down, Forward, Back, Down, Forward, + Punch - all in 1 second, while your character is in the air.

Even regular special moves are freakin difficult, my character never does the appropriate action. really frustrating game to get into.

Maybe it's because i'm using an xbox controller?

that might play into it, i've used sticks and the ps3 controller both seemed fine, with the sticks being less damaging on my fingers .

but for Back, Down, Forward, Back, Down, Forward, + Punch. just swoop your analog stick or slide over the directional pad twice. it's not difficult to do once you get the idea of the motion. It does require a bit of planning though

execution becomes a nightmare later due to reactionary inputs, or link combos where you have to train your muscle memory to frame by frame precision

you don't actually press the directions, you just roll over them obv
