i quit for the same reason as op, to focus on school and getting a job, and just like op (presumably) i assume I'll be coming back for the fun and challenge of the game (and no longer to try and make a living of it in my case) once i've accomplished these goals

if you're still playing online nlhe cash i can imagine why you might feel jaded about future prospects

For fun. Never really planning on being able to make more than 5-10k/year and probably won't ever bother moving up beyond PL25/PL50. It should work well as a hobby, especially since I won't be trying to move up to PL100 again.
