Ayahuasca experience

Anyone here in LP tried this before?

I've been watching alot of Joe Rogan's podcast and he basically has guests talk about their experience with "AYAHUASKA".

I was thinking of going through this and trying this experience, but I want to do some research before making my decision.



The video explains alot about consciousness, and how it opens your mind since you go through a psychedelic trip, and apparently will make you think about life and look at it in a different way after experiencing it.

Your "research" should be acid / mushrooms. Not knowing what a psychedelic does and jumping straight into ayahuasca sounds rather bold, to put it kindly.

and how would you summarize your DMT trips? i heard its one of lifes best experiencies, also heard it changes you as a person which doesnt seem appealing even if they say it changes you in the positive way

The whole "omg psych make u lose ur mind omg" argument is false, essentially.
There are fake LSD substitute research chems known as NBOMEs going around, which can kill you and are basically shit, but if you're dealing with mushrooms or real LSD or DMT you will make a full neural recovery. In fact, DMT trips are so short and intense in duration because our bodies are wired to deal with it since it lives in our pineal gland our entire lives.

When people say it changes you, what they mean is that you view the world differently with the same rational mind you were using all your life before the trip. You don't lose any intellect, focus, etc.

If you're familiar with eastern philosophy, Buddhism, Taoism, etc. it basically is a life hack to achieve instant enlightenment. If only for 5 minutes (in real time anyway, in the trip time doesn't exist so if someone told you you were gone for 4 days or 3 seconds you would believe either one.)

There is a documentary called DMT: The Spirit Molecule and a book you should check out. Goes into ayahuasca a bunch and will shed some light on the depth of what you're in for.

I'd summarize my trips but I laugh out loud at the notion of finding words powerful enough to even begin to scratch the surface of what a DMT trip is like.

Just stay away from Datura and make sure you're with hippies who know what they're doing before you start tripping on psychs.

I'd also like to try it some day, but like Baal said, first I want to try 'lighter' psychedelics like LSD or shrooms since DMT is the strongest one out there so you gotta be careful

i drank ayahuasca 21 times made me insane, schizophrenic, psychotic, I still deal with symptoms 3-4 years later, Im looking to euthanasize myself, not because of ayahuasca or my current symptoms, just because Im going to have to live in grinding poverty until I die and fuck that shit, I rather just die now.
however it was the most fun ive ever had

Woodbrave from LP did many trips and took it many times.

He took a journal of every night.

During the first few days it was tons of throwing up and hallucinations.

He has been a totally different person ever since, not sure if for the better or worse.

The drug had effected his mind for multiple years, he told me that himself.

He was making 100k a year playing $12 180 man sngs.

Now hes in school (after taking it, he never really won again, although he didn't play much afterwards)

fix baalim, go to mushrooms way b4 lsd, if u don't react well to mushies, avoid hullicogens. I've taken a ton. Trust me. It can mess up your thought process for a long, long time.

I think you should be careful, but obviously do some reading and come to your own decision.

i don't have to much to add but yeah if you're even considering doing this, at least try mushrooms first and if you can't handle that then you shouldn't even think about doing this

I know other people who dont have any mental illness and have done alot of ayahuasca and found it to be beneficial to their lives
however for me, the more i drank, the more insane and crazier i became, unaware i was becoming crazy. it took me 2 years to come to the realization holy shit im insane.
i literally didnt know i was crazy
