Preflop: pretty standard I feel.
Flop: I don't bet because it's multiway and because I feel a lot of draws / draw combos can raise me here, forcing me to fold. I feel there's more profit to be gained by inducing bluffs than attempting to valuebet, since betting into a multiway pot after a preflop raise on this board looks pretty strong. I don't want to miss the value of my jack so it makes sense to me to represent a hand that inferior jacks, ace high draws, or 99-66 can beat.
I could have bet to charge for said draws, but I feel I'm getting called by more kings and better jacks than draws, and my hand may be way behind already so there's not much sense in protecting it. Favouring getting to a cheap showdown here.
Turn: Standard, after the lack of action on the flop the SB could have a small % of air here, a good % of moderate hands that I beat (inferior jacks and many draws that didn't bet flop thinking they'd rather check call but want to have a stab now, 76 and 97 type hands) and a smaller % of hands that I don't (KQ, and KJ all probably bet flop, anything better like KK / AA would do a lot of 3betting preflop).
River: Standard. No sense turning hand into a bluff, no sense value betting. |
