So I had a really bad DFS day yesterday. The Cavs/76ers blowout hurt my lineup a lot, the spread was Cavs -4 so I consider that to just be variance. I was facing a bunch of blatantly sub-optimal lineups for $50+ h2h's, so it kind of sucks that my lineup under performed so badly. That is going to happen from time to time though. Today should be a good day. Lot's of games, and none of them stand out as being exceptionally good value. Narrowing down my list of players was harder today than it is most days, here are my top 4 at each position:
PG:

Mills(4800)
**I like Rondo but I'm avoiding due to the trade deadline tomorrow at 3pm

**I like Gay with Cousins potentially out. Matchup is pretty bad though.

Almost identical list to yours.
What do you think of Al Jefferson, Drummond (both exceeded value last night and have the same matchup)? I went with Big Al last night, wondering if it'll be a safe play to go with him again today.
Also considering Nene for PF. |

Looks good, a lot of similar picks. I'm curious, if you enter 3 h2h matches, do you use the same exact lineup for all 3 or mix and match a bit? |

If you're doing H2H's, you should reuse the same lineup multiple times so you can increase the sample pool of opposing lineups. If you are picking good lineups, this should reduce variance. Say you draft a lineup that is in the top 20% of achievable lineups for that day. If you run it against just one person, you may bump into the one person who is in the top 10%, but if you run it against 1000 people, you will likely beat 800 of them and turn a profit. |

You can also draft multiple lineups and run each one multiple times. |

Not sure about his price on DK, won't be touching him on FD for 6600 when Dwight is in a revenge game.

I use 1 lineup across everything. Using 2 or 3 lineups might be good for decreasing variance, but the more lineups you use the more you are straying from your perceived 'optimal' lineup. That will decrease your longterm winrate. Atleast that is how I view that subject.
Strongly considering Gay now with the Thornton trade. His shots and his rebounding should be up tonight. Thomas gets a small upgrade too. Both will likely be in my lineup.

Not really considering either of them. Jeffersons price is so much higher than his season average. Obviously he is playing great now, but I expect a regression at some point. When Kemba gets comfortable Jeffersons shots will go down. I like Dwight a lot tonight, going back to LA. |
