s2 was still good but kinda sucked compared to s1

the president is far too retarded to be realistic

claire is painful to watch

seemed like the subplots were very repetitive

Been a while since I watched Season 1, but I think the best parts of season 1 > the best parts of Season 2, but season 2 was overall more enjoyable for me. Having one of the characters that annoyed me killed off early in S2 helped I guess :D

s02e01 started off with a bang

The show is kinda falling into your typical spy thriller which is disappointing. The good thing it's still fun to watch.

I liked S1 since it existed as a realistic show in a parallel universe. In fact it was so realistic Spacey has to step aside every 5 minutes and explain everything that just happened "off-camera". Half way through S1 it starts going into total fantasy land and here we are with S2. I'm afraid the show will end with S3 because people will just get bored of another politically themed drama built around Dr. Evil plot twists.

I'm not too critical on it, I'm really enjoying myself, and watched it all in one go, so must be good. I've gotten really good in my older years to stop watching stuff mid-way if I feel it's shit, I turn of movies too if I don't like them, I even stop reading manga's midway too lol.
