Since it's all-star weekend in the NBA I have had a little extra time on my hands, most of which has gone into working on my statistical model I plan on using next year for DFS. I also had the time to compile all my stats so far for my ~4 month DFS career. Here's some graphs/charts for those that may be interested.

This is from a starting BR of $200 with a $200 deposit bonus. I have only been playing close to optimally since half way through January, so keep that in mind. Also, that huge dip at the end is the $1200 error I made by forgetting to set my lineup.

There is a little bit of a breakdown of what game's I'm playing and my ROI in each. My next blog entry will likely be a very basic tutorial on how to approach DFS since that seems like it would help the most people.

Also, if you do not have an account on Fanduel and I have helped you get into DFS in any way, use my referral link https://www.fanduel.com/?invitedby=therelapse&cnl=da when you sign up. Be sure to search for a promo code as well. There is always one that will give you deposit match up to $200. Thanks guys.

Interesting stuff, I will look at it in more detail later, thanks for posting

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

I put $100 each on FD and DK after reading your last blog post on DFS. So far im about even. I am typically playing a few GPPs each night and then 6-10 other entries which are a mix of h2h/50-50/leagues. Based on your stats I should be playing more H2H? What was your strategy for building you roll and moving up?

Honestly it was a big learning process for me. I didn't read anything, I just learned as I went. I had some theories on what would work, but those turned out to be very wrong...haha.

I would recommend to any new player that is in it for the long haul, to play exclusively H2H and double up games to start. I do believe that GPP's offer a slightly higher EV, but it takes a very long time to realize that EV, given the high level of variance. You can start adding those in when your BR is bigger. When I had a BR comparable to yours I was playing about 20%-25% of it per day. If you are playing on multiple sites, that will cut down on your variance(assuming you use different lineups on each site) so you can probably play ~%25-%30. This is pretty risky in terms of BR management, if you want to be patient with it, try to stay around 15%.

I don't know if I have mentioned this yet, but NBA is much harder to beat right now than it is at the start of the season. This is because all of the carryover money from the NFL season has pretty much dried up, so you are facing a lot of NBA regs. It has to be tough to jump in right now and start winning, so I would treat this more as a learning process honestly, and try to really make some money next season.

I'm glad to see some of you guys are starting to get into it.
