No reads on villain. First hand vs this guy.

Bet whatever you'd bet with a bluff here. Or a small induce bet is always nice.

Pre is probably a fold but 3betting is fine. Flop is an easy bet, river is an easy bet. You're hand is just too good to not bet on both those streets, not much else to say.

From villains point of view is it possible for hero to have a bluff here?
I mean if I make an inducer you think it's a happy call if he raises?
I just feel that i'm gonna get called only by hands that beat me, but it feels somehow weak to checkback river too.

Depends on villain, but a lot of weaker players will just check/call their straights here not really thinking about what you can be bluffing with, they just like their hand too much.

Also, you can certainly be bluffing with a number of hands, like 2 pairs or set + high flush blocker, or just AAKT/AAJT with nutflush blocker.

Against an unknown villain I would probably just bet something that he is likely to call with his straights. While some (mostly stronger) players might view a big bet as more likely to be a bluff, most (weaker) players will call a smaller bet way more often.

And of course vs some players it might be a check-back, especially vs very tight/carefull players who you know wont call with straights here and often trap and/or play their non-nut flushes carefully by checking them. But with no prior knowledge of the player its a valuebet, especially at these stakes.

there is a light at the end of the tunnel... (but sometimes the tunnel is long and deep as hell)Last edit: 06/11/2013 20:13
