PLO in Vegas

Hi, I would like to ask for information about PLO games in Las Vegas during WSOP. I am considering to move there for 3 weeks with some friends. I would like to play lower PLO cash games 1/2$ to 2/5$ or PLO tournaments (or SNGs) from 200$ to 1000$. Thank you for any information about amount of tables, level of players or casino tips.

Bravo Live Poker you can always check what games are going on live. When it ask for 'zip code' use 89109.

The Rio (WSOP on Bravo) runs more PLO than any other casino currently. They offer 1/2, 5/5, and 5/10 (which almost always has mandatory 25 straddle)

I've played a lot of 1/2 and 5/5. 5/5 pretty much plays like a 5/10 game since there is no cap, most buyin with at least 1k+ and there is a straddle just about every other hand. I've had some juicy tables at times but generally there are mostly 5-6 competent to good regs at most tables.

1/2 PLO is by far the softest games I've played in Rio. Most people buyin for 300-500 (500 is max) and a decent amount of people straddle. There is also a $5 bring in rule which means its basically $5 to call every hand. But the competition is much weaker than the 5/5 games. You get a lot more recreational players and people just there to have fun and drink ect.

I've played 1 night at Aria 2/5 and it wasn't the best game but it was decent. I'm sure what Eric said is true most of the time though

Anyway my advice would be to just put in lots of hours at Rio playing the 1/2 and if you want to play higher, play at the Aria. GL
