I'll be watching it.

I already watched the first 3 prelim fights on Showtime. The main card starts at 6pm PST/ 9pm EST on PPV.

There's a total of 4 fights on the main card. Mayweather/Guerrero probably won't start until 9:30pm PST or so.

I wonder who pays for mayweathers purse? Is there even 40 mil dollars generated each time this guy fights? Amazing.

I'm not sure where all the various sources of money come from, but the PPV buys for his last fight was 1.5 million. Earlier this morning, the projected PPV buys for Mayweather vs. Guerrero were already at 1.2 million, and the PPV costs $69.99, which is why Mayweather is known as the king of PPV, cuz he generates the most money every time he fights.

Mayweather is nearing $1billion in PPV revenue from all of his PPV's combined.

Which people are you asking about? The fans, or the guys Mayweather is fighting?

As far as the fans go, they get treated to good under cards when Mayweather fights, and they get to see Mayweather fight the 2nd or 3rd best fighter at that point in time. Boxing fans eat it up, especially the beaners, cuz Mayweather only fights 1 time a year now and 3 of his last 5 fights have been on Cinco De Mayo weekend. Since Mayweather is so skilled, it's a big deal to watch him perform, especially since it's only 1 time per year nowadays, so $70 for a once a year card isn't a lot for some people.

As far as the guys Mayweather is fighting, he only fights the best. Guerrero has earned his title shot, but he's outclassed here. Guerrero earned this shot by beating Andre Berto. Berto is the guy who lost to Victor Ortiz, and Victor Ortiz is the guy who lost to Mayweather.

I was under the impression that mayweather was dodging pacquiao like crazy when he posed a very serious threat. Mind you, I don't follow boxing all that closely at all - was just my impression after all the shit I heard and the small amount of stuff I read.

Depends who you ask. Mayweather's side was that he didn't think PacMan deserved 50% of the purse cuz he isn't as big of a star as Mayweather. Also, PacMan wouldn't agree to the specific style of piss or blood testing to make sure both fighters are clean.

Either way, PacMan is the one who lost in the end, as he got robbed by Broner and then got knocked the fuck out by Juan Manuel Marquez in the most devastating KO I've ever seen in boxing.

----------

Fast forward to 48:04 of the video, and notice how long he's laying there for. I like the different angles of the KO, which they show 2-3 minutes after they wake him up.
