Currently considering Tournament Poker Edge, they have a nice library, a decent lineup and a good 3month package. Thoughts on TPE? |

I would invest on lucky charms, ancient rituals and go see a shaman or two. |

whos in their lineup, who teaches at tournament poker edge
you cant just say decent lineup
what about runitonce.com
they have grayson ramage and he plays like a real pro, never folds and vs random tournament player ud expect for the guy not to be going buck wild from EP+2 or whatever, he takes every spot hes given, K9s we can 3bet or fold, but we arent flatting, lets 3bet
thats how he plays all day take it to the final table
i dont see anyone else play that aggro on video |

probably to look at some Nash charts and use your cash game background to play better than 90%+ of all the other tournament regs -_- |

because nash makes you win and not play unexploitably and, thus, breakeven. |

Not sure if you're joking or just misguided.
Nash is only "breakeven" vs another player playing nash. Poker isn't rock paper scissors. There are tons of dominated strategies in poker that don't exist in RPS.
Consider:
10bb+antes push/fold game and we're on the button. Nash shoving range using Chip EV model (Found using Hold'Em Resources Calculator) is 22+ Ax+ K2s+ K5o+ Q4s+ Q9o+ J6s+ J9o+ T6s+ T9o 96s+ 85s+ 75s+ 65s 54s. Imagine both players in the blinds fold 90% of the time (massively dominated strategy) and we're showing a huge profit. Obviously in this case we could jam 100% of hands even more profitably as the blinds are folding way too often and that would be the best exploitable play in this scenario, but Nash still shows a profit. Against optimal Nash calling ranges from the blinds, the nash shoving range is the best you can do. When both players are at nash equilibrium neither player can improve their expectation by changing their strategy, this doesn't mean that playing Nash means you break even against any given strategy, that's just retarded and is simplifying poker into rock paper scissors. |
