FFS I have been trying to figure this out for like two hours. I have a box with a gradiant using a blue and green color swatch. This is going on a newspaper, so I need to have the opacity around 30% on the color to allow the text to show up well.
However, I need the 1pt stroke around the box to remain at 100% opacity.
Plz help
I am annoied.
Thanks.

You can create 2 boxes i think, one leave the stroke with 100% and then make another inside with that gradient...or just make 1 box and inside that box put an image with the gradient as background.
Or instead of adjusting the opacity for the gradient select those colors but with less saturation/brightness |

just found it...where you select the fill and stroke colors there is a little arrow button, you can click it and a panel appears, it has an option called "tint" i think thats what you want.
edit: nvm, it doesn't work with gradients...just create 2 boxes i think is the best way. |

that is what I ended up doing, however, i just feel there is a way to do it in one box. I can't figure it out though :/

Look directly to the left of opacity slider - one up / apply effect to - choose fill ... could have just used lighter colours though. |
