Hey, I'm going away for awhile, and I think there's a live game going on there. So last few days I have been looking for some information to read up on. I will share some links to what I've found. But what I really want is for some beast to come and share awesome pearls of wisdom with me, kind of like a learning path on how to become a Golden God of Live Poker yay.

Here are 4 links with a lot of good info from 2+2:

When I tried looking at LP, this was the best post I could find, a little short, and not too much info, but much appreciated regardless, from Locooo

Ok, have at it, the more the better.

(The card game only runs from evening till night, so the idea was to spend a few hours at day, to re-read, work on my game. So kind of want some form of learning path, anthology of some sort, but not sure what exactly. Most video's revolves on hud, stats, online, so had a hard time finding amazing info).

Also a little unsure on where most my energy should be, what I should have most focus on. Could maybe Longple or someone like that write a lot of good shit for me, ok, ty

if u can beat nl25 online then live poker (1/2$) is like taking candy from armless children
it just fucks with your mind that u play 20 hand/hour

the links u posted are good obviously, i think those sum up everything pretty well

i got a question for the vegas grinders tho, im contemplating the idea of visiting vegas during the summer for a couple of weeks and i did some research of where the 1/2 games are the softest ( i know its soft everything but i want the best) and basicly what i found are dualities of each other:

"the players are really bad at the cheap casinos coz they stay there and play there"
or
"I'd recommend the busy/touristy hotels that attract rich clientele like Venetian, Wynn, and Bellagio. Playing 1/2 at those places is like stealing money. $200 buy ins is nothing to people who spend $300+/night on a hotel room."

so now which one would u suggest and why? thank you

We may start seeing toronto live grinders if they build a casino downtown. Would prob be the sickest action

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

Do you ever play at fallsview tom? Sometimes I do weekend trips there for the
10/25 game. Apparently there's big underground games in toronto too but of course they are big rake

yeah I never wanted to live in TO but if downtown gets a casino, might be a snapcall

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

Live poker is really fun. If I were a fulltime poker player i would play 50-50 live/online i think - for variation + for good money too.

Pay attention to live tells, fish got a lot of them... (Act strong when they are weak and act weak when they are strong)

:D

there's a lot of folks who stack off into limp pots with one pair. act accordingly.
