• Mousasi > Gustafsson (Just fading Gustafsson, as I see many flaws in his game and he will get crushed vs. Jones, which is the prize for the winner of this fight. Mousasi has stayed at +215 odds for awhile now, and he'll probably get better odds since he's not as known in the USA/UFC.)
• Pearon > Couture (I put some money on Couture at +350. Pearson should win but Couture has the better grappling and fights from the outside, while Pearson is a boxer who fights best from the inside and also leaps in to throw a big hook-punch to close the distance. Couture's striking looked improved in his fight vs. KJ Noons, in which Noons was robbed by the judges.)
• Mitrione > De Fries (De Fries just sucks, he is good at BJJ but nothing else. Mitrione will pick him apart from a distance with multiple jabs, making him look way better than he is at boxing, then come in with a hard punch to knock De Fries to the floor and then get the TKO. De Fries only chance of getting it to the ground is via trip, but Mitrione will be separating and keeping the distance if he's smart.)
• Pickett > Easton (I don't think Pickett will get the KO/TKO, but I do think he'll win by decision. My only worry is that Easton is the much better striker, while Pickett is a showman who only throws heat and can get out-worked and possibly TKO`ed by Easton. I'm picking the safe bet and going against the black guy via decision in Sweden.)
• Garza > Brandao (I'm still not sure about this yet. Brandao has power, and I'm not worried about his cardio anymore like some people are. I think Garza will use his massive height and reach to keep the fight at a distance and he'll easily be able to jab and micro his way out of Brandao's nubby-arm punches and kicks. I'm also giving the BJJ edge to Garza in this fight. If both guys were around the same height, I'd favor Brandao.)
• Peralta > Corassani (Corassani's only chance is to get on his bicycle and hope for a decision robbery, since he's fighting in his home country. Otherwise, Peralta should smash this fucker eZ pZ.)
• Johnson > Medadi (I'm hoping Johnson doesn't let himself get grapple-fucked like he did vs. Myles Jury, cuz that was so weird. Johnson has a wrestling background and looked like a fish out of water on his back. Jury did barely any damage, but he had top-control for the entire fight. Medadi is trash, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a decision go his way.)
• Troeng vs. Cella (No idea. I'll be going with Troeng, since he's from Sweden.)
• Spang vs. Amagov (Still not sure. Spang will win if it goes to a decision, but he's also overrated by some people who think he has amazing boxing. I need to watch some more tape on Amagov, I only remember him from that dumb fight vs. Lawler in Strikeforce.)
• Brimage > McGregor (I got Brimage at +160, and his line will probably go back up after more hype comes out for McGregor, especially after the weigh-ins. I'm looking to go big on Brimage, just waiting to see his line go back up.)
• Alloway vs. LaFlare (No Idea. I'll pick LaFlare cuz he's fighting an Australian.)
• Lawlor > Kuiper (Not sold on Kuiper, and Lawlor has some skills, despite his shitty record.)
• Yousef > Abedi (No clue on Yousef, just picking him to fade Abedi.)

Mousasi > Gustafsson. I like Mousasi @ +215. This is an excellent match-up for his style, and he'll figure to have the advantage on the feet.

It basically comes down to how bad the cut is, and whether he will get licensed by whoever the committee is.

Apparently it's very unlikely that they'll allow him to fight.
It kinda sucks but if they can get a decent replacement I'd be ok with it. I love both Mousasi and Gustafsson and I'd prefer it if they fucked other ppl up so that both guys can get title shots.

I think you are perhaps slightly overestimating how racist Sweden is......

The following is a copy/paste from somebody at Sherdog:
So all the talk about the show being a sell out is obviously bs. There are still tickets to buy at the official retailer Ticnet. There are obviously loads of scalpers selling ticket at various sites, and a lot of people with extra tickets trying to sell them at for example Blocket (Sweden's Craigslist). I myself have been trying to get rid of two tickets at a discounted price for a week without success...
And now the UFC is dumping prices on the tickets they have left. At a "deal site" in Sweden they're letting tickets go at 57 % discount. First people thought it was scalpers trying to minimize losses, but as it turns out it's the UFC themselves dumping tickets they can't sell. This is comfirmed by MMAnytt.se
So would do you make of this? Coming to Sweden with a no name card, jacking up the prices since last year, and then dumping the prices when all the loyal fans have bought tickets. Incredibly stupid marketing strategy imo. Won't buy tickets if UFC ever comes back to Sweden...

^ Tim Kennedy also said on Twitter that he's flying out to Sweden to fight Mousasi. Kennedy/Wanderlei won't be fighting Mousasi, obviously.
People try to get creative on April fools day.

Gustafsson is out. All bets on Gustafsson at 5dimes have been refunded.
"The SMMAF Medical Committee has today reviewed the circumstances regarding Gustafsson and his injury," a statement read. "The SMMAF Medical Committee recognizes that a competitor cannot be medically cleared earlier than the day before the match.
"However, bearing in mind that a correct medical examination that met the regulatory demands has been performed, nothing in the SMMAF regulations hinders the SMMAF Medical Committee from making a decision to stop Gustafsson from competing. As it is clear that Alexander Gustafsson will not be fit to compete as planned and cannot be medically cleared on Friday the 5th of April, the SMMAF Medical Committee has today decided that Alexander Gustafsson will not be allowed to participate in the planned match."

No it wasn't. You're the only person I've seen write this statement.
How was it going to be finished? Both have iron chins. Mousasi has never been finished by strikes in 36 MMA fights and 5 professional kickboxing bouts, two of which against high level k-1 guys. Gus also showed off his granite chin against Shogun, eating Shoguns best punches and not even flinching. Add to that Mousasi isn't really a huge hitter, especially in MMA.
Both are actually reasonably passive strikers in MMA. Gus has been using a lot of movement and his range recently, staying on the outside not being overly aggressive. And Mousasi is a slow stalker who uses leg kicks and is very patient.
Both guys have good sub defense and neither is amazing on the ground. I have a hard time seeing either one sub each other.
Obviously anything can happen in MMA, but I really didn't see either guy finishing the other.

put 100 on Latifi - could be a good fight or super one sided but those odds are sick :3
