I've been playing quite a bit of PLO in local home games recently but running into problems with their blind structure. They all just do a straddle on the button in increments of 5 without any other blinds. This means that the button is in almost every pot. The games also tend to be fairly passive preflop with several limpers every hand and almost no raising except for from me and one of my friends. I have remained fairly aggro from Late position but started rethinking this recently due to the fact that im still oop in most hands and oftentimes find myself in awkward situations with marginal hands that play poorly multiway vs 3 or 4 people. I've tightened up quite a bit recently but it just feels dirty to not attack limpers. Would love some suggestions on how to adjust to this structure. |

best suggestion, find a casino that runs PLO^^
in all seriousness with this structure and the passiveness of the game being quite aggro in late position is still +ev in the long run since you do want to build pots for when you hit. But yea I would tighten up the range a little bit so that when you hit you do it with nut potential hands. Other than that I'd just limp along and try to exploit some postflop mistakes (i.e. what ranges they lead out with from blinds). I've been in these sort of games a lot where nobody ever folds preflop. It's fun but the game really doesn't have much preflop play |

I'd just treat it like PLO with shorter stacks. Only pot things that flop dominating stuff a lot. High rundowns with decent suits, nut flushdraws with good side cards and such. |

it's sounds like an amazing game that you're in to me..
maybe go read on on PLO hand strengths or something cuz it seems like you are having a tough time with very basic stuff like preflop hand selection etc.
