I watched part of their match today. Isildur was owning galfond early on. He was generally a big favorite come the flop in 3bet pots vs galfonds. One pot, isi 3bet and they went to the flop which was 892. isi had 10jQk double suited vs galfonds 9 10 2 5 all spades lol. Galfold called a pot sized bet on the flop, turn and the river with the final hands being Khigh vs 9's and 8's.
Soon sfter that isi lost a big pot in a run it twice scenario vs open ended no pair . Guess it was all down hill from there.

isi is down $500k after the last 48hours,
Now, somebody had to profit from isi gains the last weeks and it's pretty standard to believe that man is Galfond, the biggest bumhunter in the world ^^ |

pretty sure when isi is crushing, the only way he can go to sleep is after losing 7 figures. |

Wonder if team cardrunners will take another shot at him. Brian Townsend still got his notes ? |

Although Isildur1 "crushed" Sauce and Kanu for respectively $2mil and $700k in the last 7 days, with his losses to SallyWoo and Galfond in the last 2 days (and also to PostFlopAction), Isil is down $1mil from his peak.
Still a $2mil winner over the last 7 days though :D

Well, as I understands it he has some table selection but I think I might be almost as much of a bumhunter as he is, and I've spent the last month sitting with every reg on Prima up to 5/10 PLO starting from a 1.2k deposit running it up to being reasonably rolled to actually sit like that. |

At that time, it's true if was unfair as they were teaming up and analysing his hands etc... but now Isildur1 is a way better PLO player and Hasting was running like the sun as well during that epic session where Isildur1 dropped $4mil to him.
Afaik, Sauce/Kanu do the same as they seemed to say that they "studied" Isil's game (at least for NLHE) and thought they had a decent edge on him. |

Galfond won 1,5M last 48h. I guess most of it comes from Isildur. So it's closer to a 1,5M loss than 500k.
Btw, Guss Hansen rollercoasting too, almost made 1M last 48h. |

Galfond won quite a lot vs Patpatpanda at O8 I think. Something like 300k$ and won vs other opponents too.
I think out of his 1.5mil winnings in last 48h, "only" 1mil is from Isildur1. Also Isildur1 took about 400k from Galfond ealier last week. So good guess would be that Galfond is up 500k or so vs Isildur1 this month.
Isildur1 was up 1mil from Sauce and 770k from Kanu in the last 48h but dropped 500k and an extra couple of hundred K's to various other players at limit games too. |
