Unless it's a Korean, which then you'd want to go all in.

I tought it was common sense to never bet against a korean in anything, except poker maybe.

edgar vs bendo is such an amazing fight im so happy theres a rematch.

the first fight was really interesting. edgar won the first 9:40 by a decent margin then lost the 2nd in the last 20 seconds of the round when he was rocked. Third round was completely even. 4th round was completely even with one semi close guillotine attempt that gave it to bendo. and the 5th was a mirror image of the 2nd round where edgar slightly edged him over the first 4:40 but then lost it in the final 20 seconds.

i personally still scored it 48-47 edgar not giving the last 20 seconds of round 5 much weight, but i cant really argue with people who scored it 49-46 bendo.

taking all that happened in the first fight and trying to figure out what will happen in a rematch is really tough. overall i would say edgar "outfought" bendo for about 18-19 of the 25 minutes, but bendo landed the most significant strikes of the bout and did the most damage. a

edgar has basically reached his full potential as a mixed martial artist but does improve against opponents as time goes on and starting out the 2nd fight not rocked will help him in the early going. on the other hand bendo just gets better and better every fight and who knows just how good he will get. maybe hes topped out but maybe he will become some unstoppable monster at 155. we just dont know.

overall the fight is one of the most compelling of the year. im rooting hard for edgar because i think hes an amazing fighter and i love watching the undersized guy do well. i also love rooting against people who praise god after they win. but because the fight is so hard to break down i will not be betting on it.

other than the main event the cerrone vs guillard fight is awesome. its guaranteed to have some fireworks and probably a spectacular finish. i dont think it will be possible for the fight to end up like guillard vs jeremy stephens and think everyone should be pumped for it.

and ill be betting on okami. buddy roberts is terrible and okami should be -700 here

another thing to mention is how amazing lightweight is. edgar, bendo, melendez, pettis, nate diaz and maynard are probably all capable of beating each other. and god imagine if jose aldo moves up too. the next couple years will be very exciting times in that division.

155/170 are such incredible divisions. cant wait to see how everything plays out and who emerges as champion in each

Its a shame that knowing they weight less than one of my leg makes me enjoy light weight fights less

- Edgar cannot KO Henderson, nor can he submit Henderson. His best bet is a unanimous decision.
- Henderson doesn't show much damage at all, if any, when he is getting hit, while Edgar gains facial damage in every fight.
- "I think" it was Diego Sanchez who said in an interview recently: "I'm surprised Guillard took the fight with Cerrone, since Cerrone always used to smash Guillard in the gym".
- Guillard has been talking about how good his stand up has gotten recently, he thinks he's some awesome Dutch-style kickboxer now, and said it's much better than Cerrone's American style.

hrm if u were to bet on frankie on this upcoming fight what kinda odds would u guys be looking for? the line for edgar is slowly improving (saw +150 on edgar last night and it's up to 160-170 now..) at some point there's gotta be a tipping point and i'm not educated in MMA to know the exact but if it reaches +200 it's gotta be +ev to bet on frankie...right? i'd even consider putting down some cash on +180-190 as well i dunno tho i might be fishing.

what is the line on it going the distance? The only way I see it ending earlier is via guillotine via benson but I think Edgar will be aware of that danger. Don't think either guy ko's the other. I'd like to prop Edgar in a decision if I could get like +350.. but maybe that is a ridiculous asking price

Yeah considering Edgar winning by decision is probably 95% of the times he wins this, i think +350 might be a bit high.
That said Frankie at +190/200 might be a good bet.

i think the line could be anywhere from even money to bendo -180. i think its likely frankie +175 has value but i would bet him for sure at +185

i hope frankie loses again. He reminds me of that faggot dominic cruz, dance around the octagon 24/7 instead of staying in the pocket and trading blows. 2nd of all, he needs to acknowledge his critics and drop down to face aldo. Yes hes doing "great" at 155 dancing/winning decisions but think of possibilities of improvement at featherweight.

And for people who think edgar won the first fight, you need to get off your MMA high horse and stop jacking off to "technical" fights. Yes i understand its part of the sport but i feel its disingenuous to the sport and fans. Overemphasizing that facet with minimal intentions to hurt/finish the fighter imo is very selfish. The diaz bros are excluded from this whole thing cuz they always bring it and if it comes to decision its usually FOTN status for me. /end rant

Sounds like a ton of irrational hate towards a guy who convincingly beat BJ Penn at 155 where Penn was supposed to be unstoppable. Then did it more convincingly the next go around. Then he got absolutely smashed throughout the entire first round against a much stronger, bigger guy in Maynard only to salvage a draw in a really good fight no matter what the f you're looking for. Oh and then he got smashed again in the first round of the rematch only to knock Maynard the fuck out like ten minutes later??? I was rooting for Maynard pretty hard in those fights...and I can respect Edgar. What's up with you.

UFC 150: 'Motivated' Frankie Edgar vows to execute better in Ben Henderson rematch to impress judges.

I had a laugh at his first quote, as he's basically saying he cant finish the fight and is expecting it to go to decision.

i actaully have a lot of respect for edgar, the kid is almost impossible to finish, but when it comes to big fights he can only finish you with his cardio which he did once vs maynard....
