I liked the movie, good enough to wrap things up. fantastic imagery as usual from nolan, but compared to the 2nd movie this was kinda weakish(2nd one was impossibly hard to follow anyway)
Yeah, I have to agree it was a good way to end it. And that's all I loved about that movie... The ending.

Bane was a menacing and formidable villain, but overall the movie was just OK. My opinion that the Burton Batmans > Nolan's was solidified.

2nd best batman movie imo, Dark Knight is going to be impossible to top. I think ppl went into this movie with expectations that couldn't possibly be met...To me all of Nolans batman movies are much better than burtons. Burtons are by far the most influential comic book movies in history, but when taken as actual movies and the changes they made to the Batman mythos they are OK movies at best.
Nolans movies made changes to character backgrounds but generally held the overall motivations/actions of the characters with the except of Two-Face.
dont tap the glass...im about ready to take a fucking hammer to the aquarium

bane should at least be 6'2. tom hardy is hardly 5'10 ffs. bale is even taller than the guy, we were tricked with some snazzy camera angles. b.s. i want my money baaack
Yeah I guess everyone expected 3rd movie to surpass the 2nd one .. which seems impossible to me. Still the movie was sick good and definetly one of the few movies this years thats actually worth watching.

The second one was the best. Rises seemed so shallow in plot and character development. Also I had a hard time really letting myself go and immersing myself into the movie considering the Colorado incident. I was constantly on edge and it was in the back of my mind for the entire duration.

wow if Vin Diesel was bane that would be fucking tilting, I hope you guys are trolling. Actual Bane was a motherfucking bad ass beast
When i first heard his voice I thought " srsly Nolan chose this voice for the villain ? is he fucking trolling the whole community " but then it becomes badass .... dont know why but at first it sounds like a newly born kitteh meouwing
vin diesel is yet to make a decent movie (except for saving private ryan i guess) and you guys wanted him to replace tom hardy which was probably the best character in this movie? whats wrong here...
too many cliches, that michael caine rant on how he dreams of not seeing and whatnot was twilight gay and when it started i just kept saying to myself "no nolan dont fuck it up stop stop no dont go there stop damnit!"
the ideas were a little far fetched
batman never trusting anyone then finally decides to trust two girls which one of them turns out to be the final boss and the other fucks him over a few time after which he decides he loves her - the hell is wrong here?
if your going to use the caine rant than at least do something clever in the end where u only show caine looking up and smiling!
that being said i still got nerd chills and it was a honorable end--- i amost expected to see superman in the end saving him or something that way setting up the next release of superman hehe
thought it was an overall 7, have no clue why its a 9 on imdb except for fan hype from the previous movies

you guys didn't enjoy boiler room, knockaround guys or the fast and the furious? vin diesel is a pretty good character actor if he wanted to, he just sold out for shittier action hero roles for millions of dollars thats all.
I watched it and liked it a lot, which is kinda surprising considering my movie taste. When I first heard Bane on the plane I wasn't sure if it wasn't a joke, but watching it further his voice was a really interesting addition to the whole character.
And I think Tom Hardy did pretty good, if it was Vin Diesel instead as some people are suggesting I would even go to the cinema I think ;/

i loved every aspect of the villain bane in this movie...until his real motivation was revealed that he was doing it all for a little fucking girl wtf...he had such awesome monologues of him having a higher purpose yadda yadda...gave him so much depth till they spewed it off.

yap exactly, Nolan is a genius considering that
btw it was quite obvious Bane's "higher purpose" is just bullshit when they linked him with Raz Al Ar or whatever the villain from the league of shadows's name was
+ yeah if u dont want spoilers dont visit the thread ... i managed to dodge the whole internet for a week so...
rofl, people already started with the conspiracy theories of the shooting.
They are saying that the guy that is being judged, is not the same. lol.

Thought it started out really cool, kept building. The Villain kept getting more and more awesome, the way he spoke to people, how decisive he was. Really awesome, then around, uhm, let's see 30-40 minutes in, something around there.
It just got boring and wishy washy, the end fight scenes were all meh, even when Batman ran in with the rest of the cops to fight Bane hand to hand was tacky, seemed boring and bad.
The end scene was pretty cool, although it felt sick obvious he wasn't dead, so wasn't buying that whole thing, so wasn't a surprise.
But around 1 hour 10 minutes at least that could have been done A LOT BETTER.
Why not keep building up Bane, using Bane more instead. The girl part was sick bad, she couldn't pull of being that special n shit, just the way her face squints when she got some air on it, the way she moved, talked, it was lackluster at best.
Would have been so much better to keep building on Bane, dragging that area further and further.
I'd give it a 6,2 or something, was entertaining enough xD
