For the hand below in the super micro stakes should I assume I am beat most of the time?

If I should fold my hand, what hands should I consider calling with? Overpairs? 2 pair? Sets only?

if villain 3bet like a maniac, lets say >10% i dont mind always calling down here
villain's range should be wide enough to make long term call profitable

I have no fucking idea what to do lol
minraise preflop followed by a 650% overbet flop :D

I probably laugh and call just because " lolwat?" but that may be terrible
as sunnysky7 I think it depends a lot of his %3bet.

I would not be surprised to see 9T TJ 99 TT AK but also AA KK QQ
so it depends if this idiot can have 9T TJ 99 TT I guess , but wtf? :D

oh and to answer your question on this board I call AJ, JT,89,79,7T, 2pair ,set , and obviously straight
89 79 7T , is probablt slightly -EV , but I'm curious ^^
(you can't have overpair , please 4bet QQ+ )

I think the same thing as sunnysky but however in this hand, I think it'd be not that profitable of a call long term. Sure we can convince ourselves that he can do this with worst than us however, for that over shove and preflop action, I don't consider calling here. The min 3bt is sign of something strong usually at these stakes...

Donk fishtard can't play an overpair so he shoves like this on a lower flop, I'm sure you've seen it before.

Unless a specific read, I'd fold and wait for a better spot. Not that much in pot, lots of hands we are far behind. Too much unknown for it to be +EV imo.

My 2 c.

Also, to answer OP, in this spot, to call that over shove, bottomo of my calling range is TPTK (if i have a read on villain).

If not, the min I call with is 2 pairs.

I'd fold this time unless he have done this before, you can't really have an overpair so I would call with 2 pair+

;o

easy fold imo? with no reads.. why double him up when he shows QQ / AA 2p here

easy call if we've seen badaggro-moves before from him obv

also, call with 2p+ (things that beat AA/QQ basically)

Fold, mini-3bet at low stakes is AA-KK 90% of the time vs an unknown.

If someone is constantly putting their stack in with nothing, just wait for a good enough hand to call.

this is a 100% snap call

I think anything else is kinda bad

Is the logic here that if he's going to make such an absurd bet he could do it with basically any hand?

the logic here is that there is no logic, we have the top of our range vs opponents who are clicking buttons. Trying to put irrational players on hands is a nightmare, the best approach is to just play your equity against them

rapoza pretty much nailed it with his example - click call and see what happens
