i found it really boring and mostly the same stuff people have been saying for years.

i did like this one though: "Do you think you have what it takes to be a great poker player? Great! That means you are a person!"

same. but to be fair the target isnt really pros, its guys who are considering taking poker more seriously

As it has been said, Galfond has already captured the professional poker players. All of us here know he is a godly mind for poker, this 'fluff' is for the casuals to bring in more people to poker and cement his personal foot into the general poker public. Sort of like reading New Scientist to hear about interesting studies, while scientist will be reading actual journals and have already know all NS content.

Never the less, well put together, but not all that much there for I'd guess 93% of LP.......

thought it was well worth reading even if so much of it was stuff that we've all thought about for a long time
