Sucks for the people who actually paid for this card, the prelims were pretty damn good, and the main card sucked bad aside from Matt Riddle's fight, which is weird since he's usually one of the worst fighters to watch.
Barao vs. Faber = they stayed busy, but boring fight for the most part. (Unanimous Decision)
Boetsch vs. Lombard = zZzZz (Split Decision)
Kongo vs. Jordan = hug fest, both were tired as fuck after it ended, with Kongo laying flat on his back due to being out of breath. (Unanimous Decision)
Ebersole vs. Head = Ebersole looked terrible and Head didn't know how to adapt. (Split Decision)
Riddle vs. Clements = Should have ended in the first round if the referee didn't assume Riddle kicked Clements in the nuts. (Submission)
Rekrul is a newb

Lombard landed more punches, Boetsch landed more low kicks.
Boetsch was hurt during round 2 or so, somehow Lombard's big toe skimmed off of Boetsch's ribs and hurt him, but Lombard got on top and didn't throw a lot of punches, only a few.
Lombard lost that fight cuz he used his same strategy as always, except this time he couldn't KO his opponent so it made him look like all he was doing was standing there, which made Boetsch look like the aggressor.

I figured out how to put money on my account through Mazooma or whatever. I just need your info now to ship the $20.
Unless BILAT_POWER!!! is recognized on Moneybookers.
btw, Barao looked better than Faber, but, Faber didn't look as good as he did in his last fight, maybe more timid this time, possibly cuz he knew his opponent was a much more dangerous fighter than Bowles, dunno.
I don't think he'll finish Cruz, just like he couldn't finish Faber. Barao will need to do a lot more vs. Cruz to win the belt, since they give the champion more love on the score cards it's the other guy trying to win the belt.
Anyway seeing how Barao fought, I dont mind Cruz vs Barao for the belt.

I thought the fight was pretty decent, but maybe I'm biased because I was cheering for Barao. It played out kinda similar to Shogun/Machida I. I don't agree with having to do more, though. All the rounds he won were pretty clear imo. I also had it 50-45.
cruz will def be a better fight. the guy is better with is standup and is not a wrestler. lol
if he has a wrestling base he doesnt really rely on it too much to win.

Some wrestlers dont really rely on their wrestling, like Jones, Henderson and yeah, Faber.

Cruz is a wrestler/boxer just like Faber, they just have different styles.
Barao is more technical than them both, but both Cruz/Faber have good movement and can take punishment, so finishing either of them wont be easy, as we saw tonight.
very rare that wrestlers dont rely on wrestling points. Jones and Hendo are a handful of those guys.since they possess KO power. Faber's standup is mediocre at best that's why his wins are mostly GNP and wrestlefucking opponents.with oints ala John Fitch.

1. You keep posting false statements, so I'm not sure if you're actually trolling or not.
2. Lighter weight classes like flyweight, bantamweight, and featherweight, don't have as many KO's/TKO's as the bigger weight classes.
3. Wrestling is the best tool to have in MMA, but isn't the only thing you should know.
4. Faber is known for having some of the better boxing in the lower weight classes. He either TKO's them, or stuns them with boxing and then submits them, as you can see below by his finish-percentage when compared to others.
5. I've never heard/read anyone see Faber is a point fighter, in the Bantamweight division, that would go to Dominick Cruz.
6. When you're talking about the top 5 of any UFC weight class, people aren't just wrestlers or strikers, they also have other arsenal in their game to keep the fight where they want it, Chael Sonnen is the exception.
