1: Raise turn much bigger, call river especially with the evidence of that other hand you showed.
2: Standard. |

hand #2 is completley normal
#1, you need to look how much money is in the pot before making a re raise, you basically made it $9 into a $35 pot for villain to call, which is pretty horrible. You put yourself in these river spots by playing poorly on earlier streets |

You guys are right about hand 1, ty
hand 2 is this rly stand?
Cant see any worse hands that can call a river shove(only QQ comes in mind) thou i dont like checking river since i am OOP, all worse hands are checking back and better ones are shipping... so we bet cuz there isnt any better way to play? Yes? |

heh your thinking is very different from mine, If I could see the cards face up and I see my opponent has QTo here, I would never bet/bluff the river since I NEVER expect him to fold a pair here (prob less then 20% of the time). You guys need to start thinking of your opponents as horrible, otherwise your gonna be stuck in this black hole of "he cant call with worse" - people who think like that don't get far in this business |

A funny thing about the 9K hand is that you actually got strategically outplayed. You may call him a fish because of his non-standard lines but by donking small into you and allowing you to make the mistake of pricing him in, he played the hand very well. OK, I know half of his draw was dominated, but it's worth learning from in general. |

^^
this, villian never made a mathematical error vs your hand at any point, infact his river play is 100% pure profit
Your line is actually good with the stone nuts QJ, but not your specific hand
Obviously villian is a retard calling with such a trashy draw, but in poker if you don't force your opponent to make a mistake you don't make money, in this case you got out EV'ed by the villain |

? Villian puts in 5.5 on a 3.25 pot on flop, and 16 on a pot of 14.25 on the flop, in which way did he outplay us? |

yup that's what fish fail to realise
I auto raise their little donkbet because 95% of the time it's a draw.
all fish love to do this to get a nice price for their draw but they pay more then if they let me bet myself.
(that being said , hero's raise is obviously too small)
what you have to realise is that vilain never made a mathematical mistake , but his strategy sux hard obv
edit: realize |
