Sigh. I wish Bruce Lee was still alive. Imagine him making comments in fights. We can only wonder what insights he can give in each championship fight.

If he were still alive he would beat all of these guys even at the age of 60!

Jesus what is it with you people* and acting like Bruce was immortal.

Bruce would get annihilated by >75% of UFC fighters with >3 fights in the UFC. There is a reason there are weight classes.

Imagine a 72kg dude with a 70in (max) reach facing Anderson Silva or Alistair Overeem.

Now tell me if you truly believe what you just wrote.

he is trolling, nobody that knows anything about fighting would think that Lee would beat Silva, he wouldnt even beat most of the people in his weight class.

Anyway nobody wants to bet against me? ill take Silva on sportsbook odds

This! And he trained every muscle in his body for fighting. He can jab his finger right through a person's skull.

You'll find a hard time finding someone to bet against Silva. Cos even the Sonnen guys think Silva's gonna win. They just dont wanna say it.

Silva wins this at first round. Sonnen cannot do a repeat of the first fight.

Edit: ok lets give Sonnen some credit. Silva wins on the third round.

Oh and I definitely think Sonnen is taking more than double on whatever he's taking for TRT.

bruce lee was pretty much the first modern day legit well rounded mixed martial artist.

he trained in jiu jitsu, judo, wrestling and spent lots of time on strength training. he really was decades before his time and people dont give him enough credit for being a great fighter. actually in one of his movies (i believe enter the dragon) he escaped an armbar by biting someone lol.

i can pretty much guarantee bruce's skills would have made him a top 50 MMA fighter in most divisions today. of course he was way smaller and didnt have as advanced training in all aspects of MMA as we do today, but he took the lifestyle very serious and as i said before was decades ahead of his time.

^ if he's in his prime today? Hell yeah he'd beat everyone in his weight division, and prolly move up even to beat everyone above his weight division. He's just that kind of guy.

And no I dont think he will be able to beat everyone at the heavyweight class or light heavyweight. That will just be stupid thinking, BUT he has a chance.

2c0ntent   Egypt. Jul 05 2012 21:28. Posts 1387

he was extremely dedicated to fitness and honing his skills, but I would not expect him to ever enter an actual MMA fight. I don't think he actually wanted to fight -- he was a movie star. He might not be the kind that is willing to take a punch/risk injury in such a way. Risking injury doing stunts on a movie set =/= risking injury in an MMA fight

^ hypothetically if he wanted to fight and in his prime today and has all the modern training available, what would you think?

I'd put $20 on Sonnen to win if someone wanted to take the bet via PayPal transfer, and give me original odds.

I think Sonnen will win via UD.

Nobody is saying he wasnt ahead of his time or that he wouldnt be good if he trained modern techniques, but he is simply no match for an MMA fighter with his current knowledge, he had the right idea but obviously isnt ready he would get wrestled fucked by any so-so wrestler.

What do you mean a top 50mma fighter in most division? meaning that he would be a top 50 heavy weight? are u freaking serious?
