BILAT you need not worry, there are numerous videos explaining these Seagal shenanigans by Silva's team.
He is not a trainer, anywhere near the level that top notch MMA fighters utilize, in any fighting system.
All claims by him are always hilariously frivolous, most famously his claim that he taught Silva the kick he utilized against Belfort, and even invented it himself.
(A front kick. Yeah, he invented front kicks to the face.)
Seagal could furthermore not even become a can crusher in MMA, he is not a fighter.
What nobody can take away from him is the fact that he's a bigger martial arts enthusiast than most, but that's not saying much.
Edit: Forgot to expand on my first sentence:
Seagal is extremely well known in Brazil, as that is where most B-movies like his end up being adored, and
Silva gains so much publicity from his being "there" for Silva, so to speak, that it's hard to measure without being a Brazilian yourself, which I'm not,
and therefore can't quantify.
Add to this the intense debate and spotlight that Silva received in the US and worldwide media, adding to his fame, and you have yourself a great decision by Silva's manager. |

Yup. But I predict Silva gonna break Sonnen's knee caps first. |

Watched Silva - Henderson again. That was a nice fight, too bad it ended in the 2nd round. Still think Henderson can beat Silva. |

i think this is the most overhyped fight in MMA history, and it's going to be hard to meet the high expectations. Silva will hopefully defeat that foul-mouth. |

Nah man this fight wont disappoint. Especially when Sonnen finally beats Silva. Sonnen has to have Silva figured out by now. He's been training in Jujitsu, plugging his 'leaks' and prolly studied Silva's game. Also, Sonnen has a great work ethic. |

Plus all the trash talking is really entertaining and finally worked by getting Silva emotional. I fancy Sonnen as the Muhammad Ali of UFC. |

LOL PuertoRican I just noticed the ridiculous poster you put in the original post (chael sonnen 'true middle weight champion''s 3rd title defense)
--
BILAT POWER do you do drugs? You've done a complete and utter 180 turn on this whole sonnen vs silva thing.. or does a little bet on sonnen really influence your perspective that much
--
On the note of it being the most overhyped fight and being disappointing: in avoiding a disappointment, this fight has one thing going for it in that no one really expects it to be a flash-bang-brawl-pow battle of excitement. Everyone is expecting one guy to try and lay on top of the other, so if it happens it won't be a big deal IMO. The hype is more about the personal drama that sonnen and silva have put together for the fans.
the only real 'disappointing' ending from my perspective will be if the fight ends in 2 or fewer rounds |

One does not simply 'Train in Jiu-jitsu' to a point where it'll do much against a black belt in a few months.
Don't forget that Sonnen will not be allowed to use so much testosterone in this fight as he did in the last one,
that alone should be a much bigger factor than leakplugging and gamestudying. |
