The usage of drugs has existed forever but back then it was mostly associated with religion there weren't many problems because the person using the drugs wouldn't have been confused in his normal state. Today disillusioned people are taking drugs and suppressed feelings of inadequacy and unhappiness manifest themselves through many drugs this one seems to be extremely scary in this sense.

I don't know various drugs affect people in different ways. Alcohol sometimes makes me aggressive this one maybe makes the abuser want to eat someone else in extreme circumstances or they are covering up a zombie mutation which I doubt.

You didnt answer my question. I didnt ask how drugs affect people. I asked why do you think is it happened so many times in the last few weeks? And not even that, this were cases of people wanting to eat other human beings (not only turning violent) while being naked. Very weird. Any theory?
I don't know why they exactly want to eat someone else but they are taking their clothes of because the drug makes them hot. Theory is the person using this 'bath salts' drug is breaking from reality and is going into a dream world of nightmares because his mind is fucked up in the first place I have no idea if this is how it affects everyone.
Anyone who isn't happy in his normal state or aggressive in his normal state will be exaggerated by many drugs because it breaks down the defenses of their character.

T_T I don't think I even need to respond to that; but I have a pretty decent shot living in Minnesota... low population especially in my area, I own a few guns and have ammo, lots of places I could go, I wouldn't call myself a survival expert but I'm an outdoors man so I feel like I could be self sufficient if I need to be (shout out to survivorman, dual survivor, man vs wild).
But on a more serious note, it depends on the type of zombies we'd have to face:
-Those from Romero's movies -> we'd be okish
-Those from 28 days later -> we're fucked, only the braves would make it

I mixed it up, was talking of return of the living dead yup, they're fast, almost unkillable and they set traps and shit ... hilarious movie though, the first encounter is epic and the oy turning sloly into a movie makes has the sickest lines ever. Highly reommend if your a fan like me !

The tests ruled out the suggestion that 35-year-old Eugene may have been under the influence of bath salts, which mimic the effects of cocaine or methamphetamine and have been associated with bizarre crimes in recent months.
An outside forensic toxicology lab, which took a second look at the results, also confirmed the absence of bath salts, synthetic marijuana and LSD.
Goldberger said the medical examiner's office in Miami is known for doing thorough work and he's confident they and the independent lab covered as much ground as possible. But it's nearly impossible for toxicology testing to keep pace with new formulations of synthetic drugs.
"There are many of these synthetic drugs that we currently don't have the methodology to test on, and that is not the fault of the toxicology lab. The challenge today for the toxicology lab is to stay on top of these new chemicals and develop methodologies for them but it's very difficult and very expensive." Goldberger said. "There is no one test or combination of tests that can detect every possible substance out there."
An addiction expert said she wouldn't rule out marijuana causing the agitation.
"It could have been the strain of marijuana that increases the dopamine in the brain, such as sativa," said Dr. Patricia Junquera, assistant professor at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Also un-intentional ironic video of Manson, LSD got most of its bad name and its illegality was strongly related to the Manson crimes who allegedly happened under LSD influence, however Manson has remained insane for decades after being off it and its also considered one of the safest drugs a human can take.

Possession of LSD was made illegal in the US in Oct 1968. The Mason Family murders took place in 1969.

Believe me im perfectly aware that LSD was illegal before Manson, but the murders along with the deaths of Joplin and Hencricks were manipulated into forging LSD's bad repulatation while the deaths and murders have nothing to do with LSD.
In fact LSD is very safe as you can see in most studies and investigations, results that do not match its reputation.

I assume you mean Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin? If so I have never in my life heard anyone say their deaths were due to lsd or anything involved with it. Hendrix I've always heard as was alcohol+sleeping pills, Joplin was heroin. Bath salts have been illegal in Florida since Jan 2011...confusing a media caused hysteria of an event for government bias against said drug is inane. Also the scientific studies/surverys on mephedrone (active part of bath sats) showed agitation in the slim, but still, majority of users (wiki mephedrone)

haven't read the posts carefully, but from brief glances I haven't noticed anyone bring this up - the toxicology from the infamous 'zombie-eating' fiasco came in, and apparently the only 'drug' in the persons system was pot. So yes, I think critical thinkers would agree that it was absolutely a media attention-grabbing situation that numerous bodies tried to involve themselves in. After all, that is how these organizations make money.
Now, I'm not condoning these bath salts at all (never tried em. nor have anyone I know - and I won't, cuz, it scared me too heh) - but I think it's safe to assume that the media intentionally hyped up the whole situation for their own reasons.
