150.00 Single Re-Entry or Add-On Tourney @ Commerce (10k start and than 10k add-on). About an hour and a half in, blinds @ 150/300 w/ 25 Ante (if I remember correctly). I have about 25k and look down @ 44 utg + 2.
Folds to me, I make it 850, villain directly to my left calls (he has been playing pretty standard, I've seen him fold TPWK to a cbet.... he has about 18k) , button calls (10k), bb calls (12k).
Flop: 2h 4h kh (Pot - About 3k)
BB checks, I make it 2k (which in retrospect was a bit small I think)... villain calls pretty quickly and both guys fold.
Turn: jd (Pot - 7k)
I'm kinda lost at this point. I bet the pot, he thinks for about 15 seconds and then shrugs and says all-in. At this point I'm sure he has it most of the time but I have to call for like 7k more.
Question is really how I should be sizing this kind of thing on the flop, and than on the turn what the best line is.
PS - Sorry if this is standard, but I'm not great (as many of you probably know) and I just kind of think with this being tourney poker, this spot might be more complex than I think. |

Im never folding here. He could easily have AhKx AhJx or even KxJh and your still 20% to win if he has it. 7k to win 21k easy call, if he had it which I am assuming he did since you made a thread, just a bad spot. Personally my bet sizing would be smaller. As played you are forced into calling regardless. |

So you would size it smaller and b/f? |

you're getting the odds even if he has a flush, I do think the shrug then shove is pretty strong but gotta go with it. bet smaller on turn also, flop sizing is ok |

2750 in pot on flop
have to lead to stack many hands or get the naked ace spaz etc.
i bet around 1885 on flop since they will call with a wide range vs my cbet , since i can have any pp as well as air and the ace of hearts, u can get away with 2125
say i bet 1885, one caller. 3750ish + 2750 so like 6500 in pot
i bet somewhere around 45-65% pot, or check jam if he has aggro postflop tendencies.
so about 4125 turn, values top pair, can get him to jam Ah or random slowplayed AA etc.
Don't fold many sets 3way in mtts, but bet smaller and use your knowledge and what you know to make the right decision on the turn.
River Ah, with those bet sizings, you can jam and hope he dind't chase which he shouldn't have but they do, for the turn price, and u can show a 4 when they fold QKo no heart or even KJh h shown etc. just have nuts vs them in future or streamroll them if they get timid v u.
gl hope i helped. my turn bet can be from 2125 to 4525 with the flop bet there. |

if he calls and 6d rolls off riv, jam, merges ranges, enough in pot etc, he has to call with those starting stacks with tp and sometimes a player who cold called 88-JJ etc.
u can always fire 2k on riv too |

He only has a pot flop / turn flop behind so im just potting both because im more worried about the 4 heart flush from a donk or kxh. Were making quite a few bb's . Your getting it in great im loving these spots I think your mindset is a little on the tight side for antes. boards pair alot |
