River C/R Bluff vs Good Reg

So this hand was played online on a Cake Skin vs a winning midstakes reg that plays a 26/20 style. I think he's capable of vbetting thin in this spot and is capable of folding a lot and giving me respect. We don't have much history although we have played a decent amount of hands together.

Stacks

Me: $186
Villain: Covers

Preflop:

Villain raises the button to $6, I flat in the SB with , fish in the BB flats also.

Flop: Pot: $18

Checks to Villain, who bets $14. I flat, fish folds.

Turn: Pot: $46

I check again and Villain bets $34. I call again.

River: pot: $114

I check and Villain bets $81, leaving himself with $65ish behind. I shove.

Is this just a complete spew/terrible bluff or a good play?

You cant really have the nuts, prolly 3b or fold 22,55 pre and fold 88 on the turn, so repping maybe QJ? Its also true that you should almost never be bluffing here but with these stacks even if he thinks you are never bluffing hes still gonna sigh call every time. Also he has QJ and 9T and all sets except 88 100% to makes matters worse.

Depending on our image + his tendencies & the fish's tendencies, a 3bet pre could be better.
Could 3bet flop, dunno his or the fish's tendencies. I prefer calling over shoving on river unless we have a read.
Now it looks like you raised without really knowing why and asking us if it's good.
Tell us your thought process and ask if it's sound or something.

Yea for the most part you should, you dont want to setmine oop vs a wide steal range and these hands are pretty useless otherwise, not to mention you arent even last to act preflop.

flatting with low pps with the fish in the bb is more than reasonable in my opinion.

yes I think when there is a big passive fish in the bb its reasonable, but for the most part to be avoided.

isnt leading better than checking on the flop. because fish will call with wider range than what he would overcall with?
