A Real Wise Guy

I found this to be a fascinating video so I thought I share it here. I have always considered Goodfellas to be my No1 movie of all time. This just takes it to a new level.

Magically, this guy is the ONLY person I have seen who says fuck between every other words and its just so natural coming out, it doesn't feel awkward AT ALL.

You realize that he is not trying AT ALL to sound like a wise guy. He is real life of all those gangsters in all the gangster movies!

goodfellas is also one of my fav movies, so many powerful scenes in that movie, such a complete lack of empathy in these people. Reading about the real gangsters in real life on wiki, being even more violent in reality was kind of shocking.

I highly suggest reading the book 'paddy-whacked'.

It thoroughly explains all of the irish gangsterism - where it started, grew, thrived, etc. Reasons for why (surviving, thriving, etc.) and all the horrible shit they did.

Believe it or not, new irish-people were looked down upon almost as harshly as black people. And I mean that literally.

History is a hell of a drug, I truly wish more people embraced it.

lol people still throw out the odd old school "racist" irish insult from time to time in the northeast, calling you a nina or something. always makes me laugh.
