Hi guys, my question is when the flop comes and it looks like I have the best hand how should i proceed? should i check hoping the player in position bets and i can re raise him, put in a bet that's some % of the pot, or bet the pot? Here's an example of the situation i'm talking about.

3bet pre. As played, just call the flop and let him barrel off with his air and weaker aces(or bet the river if he checks the turn). Checkraising the flop is fine, but I'd probably raise more than the minimum as that screams strength.

Are you assuming that most people fold like AJ/AQ to a check-raise here goose? Or do you want to keep 3 people in the pot to try and build it? Just seems like check-raising is the best way of building the pot here.

3bet pre. See how there's a limper, and a guy who raised big to punish the limper? That's dead money. And you happen to have a premium hand. What do you want when you have premium hand that crushes most ranges? You want value. So get some money in that pot.

As played, I'd prob lead. I don't think you can go wrong with leading or cbetting TPTK three streets of value in these limits. Actually, that move is just beast as hell in general.

Not at NL4!

-e- i mean they don't fold AQ/AJ to a checkraise in general here. I can even see Ax calling tbh or like KK or QQ just stupid shit

-e- given his stack size though, I think you should call flop cuz it may keep other fellow in and he has less than psb left on turn whether or not other fellow is in. And the only bad turn is like a 2

If by "can even see Ax calling" you mean "Ax is never ever in a million years folding", then yes.

Hm.. Off-suite socks..

check raise is fine, because if he doesnt have an ace you arent getting any more money anyway unless he sucks out on you. If he calls, bet turn and river and hope he cant fold. If he somehow has you beat, oh well.

listening to edzwoo has made u a nit... *sigh* - Zalfor
