Tourney situation. bb = 6k
hero: askh 80bb
villain: 88 80bb

openin position. sb calls. flop 10s2x3s.
villain checks, you cbet half pot. villain raises half pot. you flat .
villain checks turn. you? On

2-10s ...?
Kc...?
J/Qc...?
Ac...?
brick...?

villain checks turn what % with 88's in a small buy in mtt online
How often will the villain bet turn with non ace 10s?

Does snap calling flop help my cause?

bet good turn / river super small for value, or super small turn - ship it river

Good skill on the tables LP'ers

Imp? In middle position?

How many people are left, how do you view the SB? How does the table view you? Does he 3B often? Does he flat out of the blinds often? Copy and paste the HH that would be easier to follow.

Etc need more information.

You open-limped with AK with 80BB stacks?
That is a mistake.

As played, assuming you don't have a typo and flop is 10s2x3s

I would check back everything except K, A, Qs/Js - those I would bet 1/2-2/3 pot.

You are not running a 3-barrel bluff anyway so better check with most hands and take a free card. If you bet FDs/bricks and get raised you'll have to fold mostly (sucks). And if you bet and he calls and river is A/K it's not clear you can make a decent vbet because he has a lot of random 2pair combos in his range (you limped pre).

just post the hand history or make one, the explanation of the hand is kind of off to be blunt.

also, you don't know for sure he has 88 during the flop action etc, and why would AK ever be limped in an MTT with 80bb, or 88?

If you have AK, you can always bet the flop turn and river and rep big hands etc, but usually just rep scarecards higher than the ten (JQKA) if he calls the flop (and turn if u double brl)

btw if i limp AK here. i don't cbet, you have showdown value etc.

Look to hit your hand if you would ever limp AK (which is really absurd, especially in a low stakes mtt where ppl stack off w/ AJ, QK, etc)

like neilly said dont be "floating" better hands because your not bluffing. Most hands you call with pre you should be calling expecting to have the best hand on a 2310 board

limping AK in cashgames v super lag hj/co/button players is fine for a REPOP but never fine for a cc c/f or cc cc dirka doo

Floating in tournies is mostly pretty pointless, depending on the texture unless you know they're the type to just cbet one time and shut down a bunch of turns. I don't quite understand the OP tho..

I wouldn't Cbet AK on that board. Folding out worse, no better hands will fold, and sometimes worse hands will check raise you off your hand or put you in a spot like you are describing. All bad.
