private games in seattle?

Hey guys, I'm working an internship in Seattle for the summer, and just found out that no-limit's apparently outlawed in Washington. 2p2's hacked, so was hoping someone could tell me if there were any 1-2 underground games to be found, preferably ones where there's little risk of being jacked. Do not feel like traveling 2hrs to some casino alone to play capped spread.

If you're playing the lowest games, the cap usually isnt hit. As far as I understand it, the maximum bet you can make at a time is $500 regardless what stakes the game is. That can be raised for $500, and that raise can be raised for 500 more on top and on and on you go.

The only one under 2 hr travel for me is Hideaway Poker Room, which only offers 3-20 spread. I can probably get used to playing that kind of limit game, but was just looking to see if there was anything closer.

If you are driving 2 hrs might as well just drive to Vancouver imo as long as the border line up isn't crazy only takes extra hour

how far are you from the Hideaway? That is just across the north city limits in Shoreline and there are a few cardrooms up there. If you are south, the the Muckleshoot or try PJ Pockets in Federal Way or Freddies in Tacoma

Just gonna wait till my next paycheck so I'll have a roll to play the 500 spread with. Thanks for the suggestions tho guys

Tulalip up in Marysville might be closer than Muckleshoot, not sure. Last time I was there(like 2 years ago), they had a poker room full of people, and a bunch of tables running, 1-3NL, 2-5NL, maybe a 5-10, and I think a PLO table too.

yeah this is super weird. I play in Seattle all the time. I would never ever play at the hideaway. You can go play limit at diamond lils if you want that, or you can go play at club hollywood and play the 2-40 or 2-100. The best games are definitely at mukleshoot, snowqualmie and Tulalip. Tulalip is only a 30-40 minute drive north from the city for the most part and usually has the best games. Even the 1-3 games are decent up there and are super freaking soft. I would never waste my time for the most part in these spread limit games anymore. Its just so hard to push your edge and have a really good winrate. You can for sure win $10 an hour really grinding.

Also as someone pointed out, for the most part you will almost never reach the cap limit if your playing so low. 1-3 is a 300 max buy and even if you double up and someone else doubles up your only 600 deep and I cant really imagine a pot where your gonna need to bet 500....so make your way to one of the casinos and have fun
