Full Tilt Poker Gearing Up For Relaunch

For the past few months, we’ve been fairly out-spoken in our belief that the Groupe Bernard Tapie – Full Tilt Poker acquisition was going to fall through. Recent developments, from GBT outing of Tilt debtors to rumors of another interested acquirer, have only fueled speculation that the deal was in serious jeopardy. (read our interview with GBT lawyer Behnam Dayanim here) As we wrote last month, our sources have been all over the board on the acquisition as well. One source with knowledge of the negotiations said that GBT simply didn’t have the money to complete the deal (somewhere in the $220-230M range). Other sources claimed that–despite no key hires being made to staff the company back up or having their gaming license reinstated–Full Tilt was relaunched in March come hell or high water. And now that appears to be the case. According to multiple sources, Full Tilt is in “full ramp-up mode” to relaunching. I didn't subscribe the site but a brazilian poker news site released the complete article, but in portuguese. Cliffs:
-Fulltilt is gonna relauch THIS MONTH
-Fulltilt programmers are already working fullspeed for the relaunch
-Tapie is gonna pay europeans back, not sure this is gonna happen for the rest of the world

Seems like a pretty hard sell. Especially since most of their higher profile pro's that were a big part of their appeal to casuals will no longer be apart of the company.

I am still trying to figure out who will actually agree to play on that site. FTP blow-up was public enough that even fishes read about it in major news papers. So regs won't touch it, casual players won't touch it...I guess they did this whole thing just for Highcard above...

There are actually a lot of people that are probably gonna play on FTP once it becomes available again.

and I've talked to many other players who would not have a problem playing there once these criteria are met

by the looks of it the relaunch is in full swing for ROW players. lot of reports about pocket kings hiring, and server tests being run / clients being updated with new versions of the software.
