FULL Tilt Poker are once again the spotlight, as recent allegations suggest that FTP and 10 other defendants conspired to defraud company account holders of $150 million…by freezing their accounts over.

On Monday night, a New York federal judge, U.S. District Judge Leonard B. Sand, dismissed the alleged Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act class action against FTP. It was also dismissed against the individual defendants and several other corporate entities, arguing that it was unclear at this point whether a conspiracy by the defendants or the federal government’s actions were the reason plaintiffs’ could not get access to their money.

“What is clear is that in neither case was the direct cause of the injuries the racketeering offenses alleged in the complaint,” the judge wrote. It was also alleged that players had been reportedly tricked into leaving their money in Full Tilt Poker’s account; this was apparently through luring players to their live, online poker games based in New York. Amidst all of this, New York common law conversion claims meant that some of the corporate defendants could survive.

The latest allegations have stemmed from the federal government’s probe into the subsequent criminal and civil suits over the gambling site’s activities over “Black Friday.” The government’s case focused on allegations of bank and wire fraud and money laundering at Full Tilt and competitor sites PokerStars and Absolute Poker. After the whole fiasco, players have still not seen their funds being returned to their pockets. Around $150 million in deposits are still in limbo…somewhere. When we last reported on the FTP players funds; it was understood that the player’s money was due to be refunded back and that the ball had started rolling. However, the plaintiffs claim that they are still out of pocket; it’s also been alleged that Full Tilt are simply refusing to refund the money.

Stay with us as we uncover more…

so the defendants (ivey ferg lederer bitar and others) have the civil suit by todd terry and crews officially DROPPED for some bullshit reason which in all likelyhood is just howard giving the judge 500k in bellagio chips in the backroom. FTP is using this to buy more time to escape via chopper to argentina where they will begin the filming of 'The Thing: part 2'
