Spartacus Vengeance - Page 4

Keep getting smidge on my glasses, annoying having to walk to the kitchen all the time.

Episode 10 was pretty much the nuts.

Overall I say this season was alright, first half was complete crap but for the most part second half made up for it. Now on to GOT s2.

Episode 10 was the best of all 29 episodes <3

Its epic. 'nuf said.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand - 10/10
Spartacus: Gods of the Arena - 9/10
Spartacus: Vengeance - 10/10


Spartacus is definitely my most favourite TV show. Will happy re-watch it every time.

Hm i thought Vengeance was a bit of a dissapointment overall.
Episode 10 especially was a waste of opportunities to make it legendary epic
From my point of view it was a mixture of brilliance and pure B-movie crap. 7/10

Overall Blood and Sand 9/10 (7/10 at start but 10/10 at the last episodes)
Gods of the Arena 8,5/10 (all kinda equal 8,5)
Vengeance 7/10 There were a few brilliant episodes like 7, 8 and two good episodes 5 ,9 but rest was bad.

Loved the episode, the season, and the whole series.

I like Spartacus, but I miss old actor. Also out of main characters the guy that plays Gannicus first the best.

The new Spartacus grew on me a lot. The role of Spartacus changed completely between Blood and Sand and Vengeance, and I think the new guy may have actually been better suited for the new role.

How can they kill off 5 main characters in 1 episode?

Especially Oenomaus and Ashur deserved much more glorious deaths

can someone please tell me the name of this H-O-T blonde chick that was part of the group that was freed on the boat?

pretty sure its Ellen Hollman. Too bad she doesn't have a nude scene in the series tho :/

you just got used to him, his acting is definitelly worse than the original spartacus

Yeah you should probably spoiler this. I was disappointed in the Oenomaus death too. Such a great character. It seems like the writers were just trying to kill off characters to prove they had the balls to kill off characters. I don't mind having the characters appear much more mortal but shit knock someone reasonable off every episode rather than waiting till the end and killing a bunch stupidly.

Why would he give the woman 9 chances before deciding to let her stab him in the nuts, then slit his throat, that's even more weird.

Maybe stab her, so she's still alive, so everyone will run and help her, while they all occupied, make a run for it.

Or pretend she was fighting him back and back, and then when he's all the way at the back, stab her then run for it.

Or throw her weapon away, wound her, stab her leg some, and slap her some, then make a deal, her life for his freedom.

All those choices seem a lot better that what he decided.

as for mariuslol here theres actually logic in him fooling around as he can bargain her life in exchange for them allowing him to leave and its also like in bw when you played a guy who was pretty good but you knew you are better and you decide your gonna beat him with mass scouts and then he makes 5 goliaths and kills your whole army... thats sorta what happened there as well hehe

Read only the first few posts of this thread because I just watched the first episode tonight (been waiting for season to finish so I can marathon it, nomtombot?) and I thought it was fucking good. I like the new guy playing Spartacus and I think he does a great job playing him. I even think he has the potential to be better than Andy Whitfield by season's end.

I don't know, I went in with the mindset of watching a bloody, action-filled series with a little drama thrown in and a sprinkle of funny dialogue on top and that's what I get. I didn't have a feeling that the premier of this season was any different than the other two; it felt like Spartacus to me :D.

Whereas I watch The Walking Dead thinking it's going to be awesome and I get a turdfest with shit icing.

Anyways, finished the season. Was good as fuck. 9.5/10. I got what I expected from a show like this . And I like the new actor better than the old actor. He delivers his lines a lot better. Only problem is: he's built like a 12-year-old vegetarian girl. Hopefully by next season he'll start juicing and look like a gladiator, nomtombot?

Not that i dont like the new actor, i'm glad i got used to him, but i think Tom Hardy from the MMA movie Warrior, would be a much better replacement for Andy Whitfield.
I loved all seasons of this series.
