<img align="right" src=http://www.liquidpoker.net/staff/Defrag/jungleman.jpg style="margin:5px; border: 2px solid black;">The second session in the heads-up match between Tom "Durrrr" Dwan and Daniel "Jungleman12" Cates, also known as the second Durrrr Challenge, has been played. Where the first session already gave Cates a comfortable lead, this second session only increased that lead!

In 958 hands of $200/$400 No-Limit Hold'em Dwan managed to win the biggest pot of the session, worth $131,000 , but it wasn't enough to prevent Cates from finishing with a $172,146 profit for the session. This means Jungleman12 is now up exactly $692,400 after 6,820 hands.

Durrrr commented on his first 2 sessions on his blog:
"So far jungleman and i have played somewhere around 7,000 hands and im down right about 700k. I cant seem to find the ftp page with exact results, so i’ll ask someone to make that a little easier (or explain to me why im dumb).

Anyway obviously the challenge hasn’t gone too well so far, but luckily theres still 43k hands left and i’m hoping they will go a little bit better than the first 7k.

We’re obviously playing this challenge a lot faster than patrik and i played the last one, so hopefully we’ll be done with it in a reasonable timeframe. Dan’s going to london too and said he might be busy there- which i also will be some, so there might be a slight lull for 3 or so weeks- but hopefully we’ll still play a few thousand hands in that time.
I’d really like to finish this by the end of october or so (and hopefully be up at least 700k by then)"

Jungleman12 might be Durrr's downfall. As long has jungleman sticks to NLH he should take this one down.

Jungleman's been pretty unreal thus far. I never would've guessed he'd be up this much this fast but it's pretty impressive...to say the least.

shoving here as a bluff at 50NL is like explaning calcalus to a 6 month old cat wtf are you thinking - TalentedTom

958 hands means nothing.

Agreed, 958 hands (for the session) isn't enough to make any conclusions whatsoever, still many hands to go. I am personally hoping for an even game.

7k hands in the challenge +15k~ hands prior to that means something tho, seems very unlikely that jungleman doesnt have an edge.

2-3 huge pots can change the course of the challenge, so i think its early to say jungleman has an edge

im a regular at nl5

isildur had his 15 min of fame, now its time for real poker players to play eachother
