WCOOP Extreme Satellites

<img src="http://admins.liquidpoker.net/staff/Defrag/wcoop_extreme_sats.jpg" align="right" style="margin:5px; border:0px solid black;">The World Championship of Online Poker is set to start early in September, and PokerStars wants to make sure everyone has a chance to play some of the shiny events of the series. The WCOOP Extreme Satellites offer over $500,000 in WCOOP seats, so players who can't buy-in directly have a shot at playing the most prestigious online tournament series in the world! As a reminder: WCOOP will run over 23 days, from September 5-27. This year's WCOOP schedule includes 62 events and it features $50,000,000 in guaranteed prizes, the most that PokerStars.com has ever guaranteed for a WCOOP series.

The satellites will kick off on August 21 and run until the 29th. There will be three satellites a day, each one of them offering at least 25 seats, with buy-ins starting at only $5.50. Even though most of the satellites will be No-Limit Hold'em events, there is also space for other games such as Pot Limit Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo and Five Card Draw. The highlight is certainly the $260 satellite which offers 25 seats to the $5,200 Main Event. Last year 'JovialGent' was crowned Main Event champion and pocketed $1,715,200, so expect a huge turnout! This tournament will take place on the last day of the WCOOP Extreme Satellites.

To take your shot at WCOOP glory, register for the tournaments in the PokerStars lobby by selecting ‘Events’, ‘WCOOP’ and ‘All’, and type ‘WCOOP Extreme’ into the Tourney Filter.
