FTOPS XVII kicks off tomorrow

The series, which will kick off this Wednesday, will feature 34 events and have an impressive $19,000,000 total guaranteed prizepool.

There will be events for all tastes, including knockout, shootout, turbo and super turbo events. This is the 2nd FTOPS edition that features Rush tournaments, which is obviously great news for those who enjoy playing this frenetic gamestyle. The Main Event is back with a massive $3,000,000 guaranteed prizepool. It's a two-day tournament and will have a $640 buy-in. The main event is set to start on August 15th, the last day of the series.

The traditional gifts awarded to the finalists of each tournament are present as well. Those who make the final table of any FTOPS XVII event will get a limited-edition FTOPS jacket. The winners of each event will receive the jacket and a desired gold Jersey - mostly for the implication of this gift. There are also some coveted prizes for the player who achieve the best results throughout the series! The 'lucky' one will win a custom Full Tilt Poker avatar and a special prize package which includes entry to every event of the next FTOPS, except the Main Event.

In addition, the low-stakes players were not left out of the party. Around one month after the start of the FTOPS, on September 8th, the mini-FTOPS takes place. This series is aimed at those who have a smaller bankroll but are also excited to play important tournaments. The mini-FTOPS features the exact same tournaments as its big brother, but all the buy-ins cost approximately 1/10th of the FTOPS's buy-ins.
