It's been a while since our last "Weekly" Bulletin. This part will cover from 25/5 to 14/6. Unfortunately there was no High Stakes Hand of the Week during this period. Instead we decided for 1 Low/Mid-stakes HOTW with 2 runners-up. More recent hands will be covered in a future bulletin to be posted soon.
** Low/Mid Stakes Hand of the Week **
This hand is no sick bluff or sick call, but a sick hand nonetheless. In this 400NL heads-up game, gruzerz is playing over 500 big blinds deep and is dealt pocket deuces. His opponent raises, he calls and flops quads! He check-raises the A-2-2 flop, bets the 5 turn and on the 8 river (bringing 3 diamonds to the board) he bets again and gets it all-in. A pot of over 1150 big blinds brings one sick cooler to his opponent, as he held pocket eights to river a full house to our hero's flopped quads!
Gruzerz flops quads and wins a 1150bb pot!
Runner-up: The funniest hand of the week(s) must have been Bluffed1331, who holds true to his name, bluffing with absolutely nothing. Raising from small blind with pocket threes, he gets called by the big blind. The Q99 flop gives him 2 pair, and he bets and gets called. The 4s on the turn looks like it changes nothing, our hero bets, gets min-raised and he calls. However, with another Q on the river, that means his pair is counterfeit and his hand is useless as he's playing the board now: 2 pair with a 4 kicker. Our hero checks, villain bets the pot and with just $22 more (giving his opponent 16:1 odds for a call) he shoves all-in, after which his opponent folds...
Bluffed1331 makes a successful but risky bluff
Runner-up: This next hand shows player999 playing in a $110+$5 heads-up SNG. With fairly even stacks and relatively low blinds, our hero finds QTs preflop and calls his opponent's raise. The A-9-6 flop is<A name="cutnews"></A> not what he hoped for, yet he check-raises his opponent, who calls. The K on the turn gives him a gutshot straightdraw, and he bets again, about half the pot. Villain calls, and when the river is a boring blank, it looks like our hero is going to check-fold. The check is there, his opponent shoves all-in (for about a potsized bet), but what? Player999 makes a hero-call, as his opponent didn't beat him, but had exactly the same hand!

** Tournament Performances **
The biggest performance of these weeks was without a doubt Art "thew00sel" Parmann's 4th place during the $2,500 Limit Hold'em 6-handed event at the World Series of Poker. Unfortunately he wasn't able to win the bracelet, but a $62,769 cash is nevertheless an awesome performance.
These were also great weeks for albonycee, who made 3 big cashes. First he chopped 3-way in the 33k KO Guaranteed on FTP for $6.4k. Just a week later, he finished second in the $10k guaranteed on FTP for $2.4k and first in the same tournament 2 days later, this time making a deal for $3.6k.
Other notable cashes include rS.Wisdom[9]'s cash, who managed to get heads-up in the $30k Guaranteed where they chopped it for $8.4k. Also tutz_x finished 6th in the $5.50 Rebuy tournament on PokerStars, earning $1.6k. Drakk also had a nice cash when he finished 5th in the $25k guaranteed tournament on PokerStars, which gave him $1.3k.
