As the wisest football predictor on LP, EvilSky wins the $250 first place prize of the competition.
The difference between EvilSky and 8th place FollowTheStorm was just 4 points before the final, with 8 points to win. Which meant everything would be decided after the referee's final whistle. Both picked different teams so the winner of liquibet 2010 was undecided till the very last moment! EvilSky was right and therefor will be the official Liquidpoker.net World Cup Liquibet champion for the next 4 years.
These were 30 days of awesome football discussion in our forums, and we are happy that the World Cup and Liquibet kept a lot of posters, even those who don't follow football, interested in the games throughout the whole competition.
