Our $1,000 freeroll at LuckyAcePoker is over and we have a winner! It's Mavoor, one of our users on LPnet and also on 52.is, our Icelandic little brother. He got himself a pretty $450 payout for his kick-ass performance today! The field wasn't a big one, as 32 players from all around the world joined the fun. The tournament ran for 3h30. It started at a low pace, as players were carefully picking their spots. Eventually, as the blinds were getting bigger and bigger, the eliminations started flowing more frequently.

It took a long while for the bubble to burst. Players were too passive and during certain period there were no pots big enough to send someone to the rail. The bubble boy was Polish Ready2BeRich, who was eliminated by the chip leader at the time, Mavoor. sketb23, also from Poland, finished in 5th place. He earned $50 for his efforts. kostek8 was eliminated by flamerkj in 4th place and received $100 for his run.
flamerjk was also responsible for ending Mexican juansrock hopes of taking the whole thing. In a hand where both went all-in preflop with AT and A4 respectively, the Romanian held the dominating hand and knocked juansrock out of the tournament! Juansrock earned $150 for his third place finish.
The heads-up was a real rollercoaster. It started with Mavoor holding a 77k to 55k chip advantage, but the chip-lead would change hands several times during the duel. In the end, Mavoor prevailed over flamerjk and got the first place prize. flamerjk was paid $250 for his efforts.
